Mine 2as put on today. The nurse put it too high I think. If I put my chin to my chest IM touching the monitor. I think she put it too high.
Oopsies I didn’t know about the double tap and I was tapping to fidget.
I took a shower with it. Covered it with plastic and bio tape. But I did a bad job with the tape. And it got some water in it. Did I just mess the monitor,? It didn't get that wet just a bid humid.
I seem to have some clear jelly oozing from underneath the patch I’ve wiped up. 9:38 pm sept 6 2023 vermont.
Odd, that didn’t happen to me and I haven’t seen any other comments in these videos about anything like that.
The Philips Extended Holter ePatch comes off your skin easily and the replacement patch is difficult to re-apply because it sticks to itself immediately. They need to provide an adjustable neoprene sling or band. I had to use duct tape to help keep it on. Also the nurse said this device costs $9000. Which is not accurate.
$3,300.oo is what the bill was for this test . I got the bill today.
Wow!!! Yikes! That's crazy. Now it makes me nervous wearing one for 8 wks. Sheesh.
@@SayItAintSo4realIt typically would be mostly or fully covered by your insurance. Check with them before you get it if you’re worried.
How can this device tell if one is short winded and light headed?
I know when I wore it, those were symptoms I entered into the diary they supplied. Then when my doctor got the full results, he could correlate what I felt, with what my heart was doing at that time.
I finally got the results. ( not the Dr. interpretation ) but what the Dr. made his interpretation from . There is WAY more events of " Lightheadedness and short of breath than I actually had. I had 3 total ( that I manually entered with the phone ) and the results indicated I had more than one a day! Something is very fishy about this.
You definitely need to talk to your doctor about this. Ask them if those specific events are detected by the device vs. only based on what you wrote in your diary. If it’s your diary then they made a mistake!
