For anyone hunting to build a cruiser board. These chunks dont nessisarily affect the ride. Same thing happens to OJ Super Juice wheels (78a). If your looking to avoid this I believe the softest you can go is a Powell Peralta G-Slide 85a. 85a and above appears to not see this problem. Though bones rough riders are 80a, there are some wheels put there at 83a. Very uncommon, I have no input on said wheels durability.
