As someone who read Powerless you are so right. At first it was irritating why Paedyn wouldn’t just go for it, but after realizing that the royal family has hurt her or WILL hurt her so much if she is to be found out to be an Ordinary it makes sense. I am so hyped for the second book

Of course! It’s a series by Tahereh Mafi. The first book is called Shatter me. It follows the story of a girl called Juliette. She has superpowers whoever she touches with bare hands, dies. So she’s being help captive by the reestablishment. It’s set in a dystopian world highly recommend!!
