Bite was hot. We stopped at 20 by noon. We had plenty for all of us. Don't mind my crappy gaffing.

Bites been good. Bigger grade of halibut this year. Wind has been a problem, but to me the bite really turns on when the wind is blowing.

It's all about the dog having fun, planted birds is really the only thing in CA now. Great way to teach a young dog to hunt, especially when you don't have land to train them on.

Sturgeon going strong in a state that is claiming that "We Don't Have Any" who knows where they are getting that from. They are hard to hook, but that's what makes them a challenge. Also, "DON'T BE THAT GUY" who has to plow right next to a boat on anchor in a wide open area. Especially when you do it often, but complain when another boat does it to you.

Is it legal to remove sturgeon from the water where you at? Anywhere i have fished them its illegal to hold them out of the water.
Yes. Any sturgeon 68 inches or less can be removed from the water.

Rocco is a beast! Would it be hard to hunt this club without a dog? I’m looking to checking it out this season.
He's learning. Still has a wase to go. It's tough without a dog. Chukar are easier. Pheasant like to run a lot at times. The longer they sit after they are planted, the more they will take off running.
