York is such a great City. Definitely play into the Ghost/Haunted theme for additional tourism. One of my first coffee videos was filmed in York.
Such an interesting city isn’t it. Has such a laid back atmosphere as well.
Great stories and history. I do love how you blend the two.
@@DixieAfterDark much appreciated! 😃
Really well done, bravo 😊😊
@@carolescutt2257 really glad you enjoyed 😃
You have a very pleasant narration style ❤
You deserve more subs ❤
Wonderfully narrated ❤
@@carolescutt2257 thanks! 😃
Been here it's very atmospheric ❤😊
I used to go here in my early twenties, regularly. One night We stumbled across a group holding a seance within the church itself, they ask us if we wanted to join. About 4 of us joined the circle, one of my close friends swears to this day that he felt someone put a hand on his back, we were all holding hands. There was lots of satanic worship going on here back in the day, I’ve been up to the top of the church via a hideously narrow spiral staircase made from stone.
Incredible. It’s interesting that it’s such a magnet. In such an unassuming place. Thanks for sharing.
❤❤❤
Love, Love , love! I loved how you did this. It was so atmospheric. I really want to go to York Minster. It's on my list. Happy New Year to you. And look forward to hearing your fantastic dark history this Year :) You deserve so much success! 😍😍😍😍 I love how you bring history to life!
@@bella_Areghostsreal Happy new year! Thanks so much, that means a lot a lot 🙏 can’t wait to get things rolling this year. I would 100% recommend. As you know, Yorks a delight and I must have spent a couple of hours in the minster with the various bits to see.
@@CallOfTheDarkVideo Yes York is sooo beautiful. I went before I started my channel and then I was like I have to go back. I just have too! :)

I've visited York Minster, and it certainly does have an atmosphere about it. I love the history and architecture of the place.
It really does doesn’t it. Very few places like it. I found the intricacies of the architecture incredible.
@@CallOfTheDarkVideo York Minster is the one that has the statues of the monarchs of England in it, isn't it?
That’s it
@@CallOfTheDarkVideo I remember marvelling at that. I was even able to pick out Edward Longshanks and Edward Caernarfon.
@@AScottishOdyssey I believe it’s 15th century. Incredible.
Thanks, i enjoyed this...I never looked at the Minster in terms of hauntings in my time in York - perhaps i should have..... York is such an incredibly haunted city
Thanks! It really is. Definitely warrants a return visit. Clifford’s tower and the Golden Fleece have some great stories.
Brilliant job, well done.
Thanks for watching 😃
i was there last year useing necrometer in one room said look in safe in corner there was safe said look top safe bottom level take my sword dig on south side building brilliant what was through on necrometer
Wow, didn’t know Ettington Park is English, The Haunting is a brilliant film but always thought it was filmed in the USA.
@@derekcoe9633 it’s a beautiful but strange place, you can see why they chose it.
You need to pull your background audio level down as it nearly drowns out your narration.
Thanks for the feedback
Wait till you see the pig farms

Not surprised because of the black devil
I used to be a medium and work with spirits....but ive gained a bit of weight and am now a large and am no longer a barmaid 😅

England's stronghold, to this day!
How do you choose a most haunted place from places that aren't haunted?
@@DepakoteMeister I tend to research which have the most compelling ghost stories.
You think the dead of Thetford will freak you out, wait until you meet the living.
😂😂
Nice presentation. Keep 'em coming 👍
@@frankbadger9881 thanks very much! Sure will 👍
I ve read that if you go to the SPEEDWELL CAVERN Castleton ; on display are the saddle bags of ALLAN & CLARA !
Can’t believe I missed that. They’re right in the gift shop there at the bottom of the pass!
I find queen Victoria such a fascinating monarch/woman. The Victorians in general used her as a role model and a lot of the Victorian ways of life / dressing for the nobility came from Queen Victoria herself and trickled down to the general public. I have to say I love Osbourne house, It's so beautiful. I need to go back. Another fantastic job. Really enjoyed this . So sorry for the late watch.
Thanks!! Really is a beautiful house. Glad you enjoyed 😃
New Sub Here !!!! Just Found You Love Your Content Very well Done
Thanks very much! Welcome 😃
Fascinating!!!
I live and work in Stratford. The Waterstones shop top floor is haunted.
I loved this. Definitely worth subscribing. I live on the island so I’m always interested in the history here. Do you know if that tunnel still leads somewhere or if it’s been completely blocked up?
Thanks for watching! Plenty more from the island planned. The tunnel leads from the garden to the cliff side and I believe they run tours of it daily.
The Victorians loved a good seance and ghost story. They laid the foundations to how we deal with the supernatural now.
Absolutely. Really where a lot of these concepts started to begin with.
I visited yesterday afternoon. A very still and quiet day. Although we did not see anything, there was a temperature change as we walked into the chapel. It was mild outside and stone-cold on the inside! A very bizarre place!
How peculiar. It’s atmospheric up there for sure. Especially at this time of year.
Can Shakespeare be a pseudonym for sir Francis Bacon? In those days it wasn't very suitable for a nobelman to write that kind of litterature.
Amazing video! It's always been on my bucket list to visit
Thank you! Would definitely recommend a visit 😃
This was great thanks 🍂☕️🖤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks to the Algorithm gods I have, perchance stumbled across your sanctuary of ghost// ghoul /darkness ❤
Glad to have you aboard! 😃
A very interesting ghost/timeslip case happened at the Priory. There were four young guys who visited it late in the evening. They saw a rather angry looking man staring at them from the top of the building, then he began to walk down the stairs. Two of them, convinced it was someone playing a joke, ran at him, only for him and the stairs to vanish, with them ending up on the ground. One of them, Chris Jensen Romer ended up joining the SPR and had two other possible time slip experiences. The remains of the stairs are still visible there.
Do they still Have the man Trapp? to 😢walkway in the Bull 🐂 Hotel 😂🎉
I am one of Few people that can 👌 tell you what Burford Actually looks! Like From the very Top of the Spire! ASI Carved the star 🌟 on top of it lol 😂 Didn’t Quite look 👀 Forward to Actually placing it Though! 🤣👌 job Done 👍 Ages! Ago 🎉😂❤🤓🧐
@@danbroome8772 interesting, I’d not heard of that
The towns people STILL celebrate their deaths? Wow!!!!
Certainly left an impression
Another fantastic Job. I love Burford, been so many times. As, it's not that far away from me. I do love the legends of Britain as I always feel there is some truth to them or morality tale. Your video's are always just so amazing and I always feel like I am learning some new things about the places I have been too. You deserve so many subs. Honestly, so underrated.
Thanks Corinne! Hope I did it justice for you. Only discovered the town recently. Beautiful place with so much folklore. That’s so much for your kind words 😃
@@CallOfTheDarkVideo Oh it is such a beautiful place. I love Burford. I love the whole of the Cotswolds. I love to have it on the doorstep. You certainly did it justice. :) Enjoyed very much.
Tom, Dick, and Harry? 😂
Parents had a good think about that one 😆
Pleasingly easy for the sensory-challenged to watch. The narrator doesn't scream, he has a low, pleasing voice, there are no flashing lights, the music doesn't overwhelm the narrator, and there are no sudden loud noises or jump scares. Also, the video itself is lovely, the narrator seems well-informed, his information is nicely arranged, and it's overall a pleasure to watch. You've earned my subscribe.
Thank you for the kind words. It means a lot. Glad you enjoyed. Plenty more to come!
Love the folklore of Britain, I wonder if the bottle is still there or if its all a myth.
