WHY SOME LARGE SUV's DON'T MAKE THE GRADE IN CRASH TESTS
I’m surprised to hear rivian is doing well with safety! Good for them!!
Loved tge shot of you looking into the mailbox. I dont know how you do all these visuals. Thanks for warning us about the PC scam. It is absurd how many scammers are out tgere. Reality Inc. Such a red flag.
Thanks...i try to use lots of interesting visuals to tell a story... if you don't keep people interested, they won't stay to hear about the issue you're trying to warn them about...
Thanks for keeping us up to date on car safety. I will definitely look at the list on line.
There’s also a link to it at the end of the description on my UA-cam page
This is just ridiculous. Get the profit motive out of healthcare.
This is crappy
What? What a load of crap. You are a lier. As doctors we have more work because of these systems and have less time for patients. F in lier
Hey Doc... I suggest you take a grammar course...A liar is a person who doesn't speak the truth. A lier is a person or object that rests in a horizontal position.
Nooo, they’ll get even greedier. That is the bottom line here, greed
Dental insurance the biggest scam out there. Been allowing the same stupid maximum benefit of $2k for over 20yrs now. Can barely get an x-ray at that cost. And then if its for a free cleaning, they try and scam you into paying for some other BS. Like slipping in Fluoride and then charging $50 buck and saying its not covered by insurance. Or charging $25 for covid equipment, when they have been wearing mask and gloves since dentistry has begun, not covered. They are the worst!!!
I agree about dental insurance. I insist they ONLY do what is covered by insurance before we start, and make it quite clear I WILL NOT pay for extras.
@@theconsumerguy Smart!
Well, so much for the Three Laws of Robotics.
Such good advice as always. Buy now Regret later. Love the burning dollar bill. Have a great Christmas cinsymer guy. 🎄
This piece really shows how AI is really going to interfere in so many creative fields - writing, music, and art. It also stresses that the courts will have a difficult time protecting these fields. It is scary. Great visuals and a good interview as always.
thank you
Entertaining and informative keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!
Entertaining and vidually interesting. Bestcif all goid reminders about scamsthus time if year.
Thanks for your kind words…sometimes humor is the best way to tell a story
Just love the sleezy old car salesman. Thanks for keeping us all in the know!!
Haven’t we all met a scam-o guy like that at one time or another in our lives Pdog?
GUYS A NEW TEACHER SBRACCIA VIDEO JUST DROPPED! 🤯🤯🤯
Whats up radio class, its your boy student here. posting this to let you know my teacher here is awesome!
Excellent information as always and creative visuals. Loved the closing shot.
Thanks… appreciate the feedback
Great stuff Steve! I definitely agree this should be taught in school!!
I think decoding Internet/social postings really need to deconstructed in an educational environment so that future generations can figure out how/where they are being catfished
Let people decide for themselves. Do not decide to censor, that is the most despicable thing that can happen.
I’m not advocating censorship- I’m saying be on the lookout for fake stuff which in effects is censorship imposed by social media companies who allow that phony junk to crowd out real comments and posts from friends and others whose posts you might be interested in… fake stuff doesn’t do anyone any good..
I don’t think you really watched this video? He is clearly sharing tips on how to keep an eye out for stuff that is untrue.
Making sure our donations get to those who are hurt so bad is the least we can do!
I am so glad that the alarm soynds have improved in the last few years. Thanks for letting us know Consumer guy.
Thanks for your comment.. glad we can provide info that you find useful
Glad it resonated with you… it’s really insidious how that stuff has taken over our feeds. I’ve got many friends who complain their feeds no longer concentrate on stuff from people they know -but rather are filled with junk posts.. (and I’m in that same mode)
Thanks Consumer Guy. I will be careful to send $ to legit people.
This was so helpful. I am going to really watch for fake stories.
That’s why I only buy and drive older vehicles. My 98 Blazer only has a light that comes on if I don’t buckle my seat belt. It doesn’t care about if the passengers buckle or not and is easily disabled by removing the bulb.
Why is it that people hate it so much when other people live and die however they want to live and die?
The more annoying you make the seatbelt reminder, the harder I will work to not wear my seatbelt out of sheer defiance. I'll wear it in older vehicles without missing a beat. The second that thing starts bonging at me. Nah man, it's over. That belt ain't going on.
Amen brother!
Make it annoying enough and consumers will just disable it by bypassing the sensor.
When I worked for Hertz I often saw cars returned where the renter buckled the seatbelt and then shoved it into or behind the seat to shut it up. Wherever happened to "my body my choice"?
All trucks should have a button to turn the alarm off because for farmers who are doing work at very low speeds and are constantly getting in and out of there pickup trucks it is extremely annoying to buckle and unbuckle over and over in a short amount of time to get rid of that annoying chime. Or at least have the alarm only activate after a certain speed.
The 80's called. They want those DIP ICs back.
Lived there for a number of years and I'd be more concerned with the fact that the chemicals used in the processing are stored at close enough to the river that they could have been spilled into it during the flooding. Even minor spills previously have killed the fish and caused other environmental issues according to what I read.
Look it isn't nice what happened but my question is, it is a developed country in the 21st century, why the heck do they still build houses on floodplans made from matchsticks and cardboard?
Money, that's why. I agree, we should not build in high risk area's or if you do you're completely on your own and will have to self insure or go without.
Because the people are uneducated, and don't know any better!
@shhmule If eyes and ears were going to do it, there wouldn’t be as many backup collisions 🤷♀️ looks like humanity needs help.
When you drive a SUV that you can't see out of.... how about design and buy cars that you can see out of.
So change the laws, problem solved!
Or you could use your eyes and mirrors to look.
What certain areas of the country is it more common?
This is not a complete list by any means but law enforcement sees a high prevalence of it in Central Florida, in places like Tampa...Also New York State and NYC. San Diego, the Houston area, and urban areas in Colorado, as well as urban areas of Georgia.
How could you be liable for that? It seems the bank or loan company would take the lost. The title is a phony not the true deed. The one that the bank sends you when you pay your mortgage. That just piss poor banking they make it so easy for thieves!
Great points Steve! My F150 I drove in high school was a very intentional move on my parents part 😂👍
I was literally just looking in to a suburu forester as my next car!! Good to know they are safe!
So glad to see you still have the accent!!
How about if we just don't spend money at Wendys anymore ? When a burger costs 12 bucks and a meal costs 20 there is no point in eating fast food - I will just cook at home thanks.
I am just not going to eat at fast food places anymore simple as that
I grabbed a subway foot-long yesterday, just the sandwich was $12,
You mean price gouging
Gouging is an ugly non-PC word, lets try to use soothing words that hide our crimes like surge pricing or even better dynamic pricing - because our customers are stupid !
Or, make your own and put them out of business.
I get it surge pricing they price it at $3 and raise it to $5 when they are busy and with dynamic pricing they price it at $5 and lower it to $3 when they are slow. Genius !!!
i will never eat any fast food again except for arbys a few times a year when i have good coupons. and i will only eat at a restaurant about twice a year. and yes, i can easily afford it but this is the only tool that consumers have against these high prices. lets see how this supply and demand stuff works. i don't have much confidence though because people are too lazy anymore to make their own food.
go and consume consumer guy!
this what gonna happen; people will try to figure out when prices are lowest and everyone will order then, making that the new high-order period causing prices to fluctuate. this business model does not work long term, doesn't take a degree to figure it out.
The backlash - no one eats at Wendy's anyway, so it'll always be non-surge pricing LOL
