Nice .... am I being technically challenged, or is there no sound? And how do you fish this? Thanks, Nick in Redfield Arkansas
Looks like your link has been hijacked. Takes you to spam sites.
Cool looking bug. Are you still tying? Innovative for sure.
Nice one!
The materials is MC fly foam? Thanks
It Is possible to know the size and brand of the hook?
The link goes to a porn site. Do not use!
You make that look so easy to make an egg
Hello Jason! Nice fly. All the best.
WHAT?! This is way easier than what I've been doing!
Great video ! Does this work the same if you want to add a bead first ?
Go figure... foam great job JJ. Love Blugill
Wow, you are such an innovative fly tyer. I learn so much from your videos. Thank you.
Love it! Easy and effective. Thanks a lot!
Tied a couple last month, and mailed one to a buddy who has yet to fish, and I finally was able to fish today. Landed 3 quick fat bluegills and a couple misses before a fat bass decided to steal the fly thanks to my poorly tied knot. Thanks for a nice, simple fly pattern...will tie a few more tomorrow.
very nice, thank you. I started tying trout flies over 40 years ago. Wish they had UA-cam back then. I lost interest, but now getting back into it.
Love watching how you tie flies.
can yoi recommend a good resource for patterns for species ie best for chinook, best for steelhead & any preferences for spring vs fall for those of us learning? Thank you.
Just tied this and got to fish it yesterday. I can't say enough about this little hopper, it swims really well.
👍🐜👍🕷👍 классный жучок.
where did you get the fly foam tool or tube what ever it is called or did you make it
Seen this on tightlinesvideos. Pretty neat
Шарик супер.
Hello Jason...Not certain if you get updates when there are questions regarding this pattern, but I'm curious if you have fished this pattern at Lee's Ferry during and/or around the annual Cicada hatch. Really like the pattern.
What kind of contraption are you using that holds the foam in place when your tying it onto the hook?
It looks like the end of a Bic pen like you would get from a business with their logo on it.
Can I use deer hair on this fly
Can I use medium legs
Thanks
I llike it!Going to tie some now, thanks for the video
great egg video thanks
I have been using my sharp scissors thanks for the info!!
Just flick the hook at the end
I've been looking for an easy way to make up the glow bug. You made it easy. Thanks I'm headed to Yosemite next week to try one out. If I do good I'll post the video. Thx Again you rock!
What kind of glue
It looks like super glue.
Wow what a great pattern simple easy and fast thanks
What type of egg tool is that Jason? looks like a small tube.
David

Fantastic! What is the egg tool you are using to push the material through?
This is the link to how to make the tool. It's the tip of a pen. www.azbythefly.com/articles/tutorials/42-diy-egg-foam-tool
Seriously, the best egg tutorial I've seen. 3 eggs in 3 minutes, gotta love that!!!
I've always enjoyed tying and fishing foam flies. Happy happenstance to run across this video. The technique of tying in the legs is simple and elegant. I foresee tying so many of these that I'll be giving them away. Thank you.
Thanks for video on this fly Jason, tied a bunch of these, looking forward to tryin them on Oak Creek.
Glad you liked it. This has been a real producer for me everywhere I've used it.. Just finished tying a half dozen up for a Pyramid Lake trip in Size 6! Crazy, but I bet it works!
Hope you have good luck with it at Pyramid!
Can you use an extra small wire instead of a small wire?
You want to size the wire to the hook.. smaller hooks, smaller wire etc... I'm sure the fish won't care what size wire you use.
Thanks Spencer, this fly flat out works everywhere I've tried it. Love the pattern, thanks for sharing it!
Looks awesome!!!!!
