Samsung HVAC setting fan to thermal off

In this video I go over step-by-step procedures on how to set fan thermal off on a quantum 2.0 single zone and Samsung FJM multi zone systems. The reason why we want to set the fan to thermal off would be to help reduce humidity in the condition space. Always refer to your user manual or installation manual for up-to-date codes. These codes work in the AR TSFYBWKNCV. And AR TSFABWKNCV

Awesome video! Thanks so much, this really helped me!!!
Looks fantastic- thanks for sharing the video!
What made the bolts break?
@@Kent-g9x not sure. Maybe over torqued at the factory or cheap steel. But the header bolts for some reason snap all by them selves on these trucks.
I found a small leak in the middle of a distribution tube and not knowing better I rapped it with J B Weld Marine but after I charged it it had a very small leak. After watching this video I feel tempted to pull the evap and fix it the right way but Id have to cut like 4 inches where the epoxy is the get a piece of aluminum tube to weld it. What do you think? is it worth the risk?
@@enriquepacheco6545 depends on how patient you are. If you are confident you can get all the JB weld off, then I would.
This helped me a lot, thank you!
Great explanation
When brazing an air conditioner condenser, do I need to release the refrigerant gas? As opposed to 'pum- down' to collect the refrigerant gas into the outdoor unit, if I 'pump-up' and then braze, is there a risk of explosion? ( Google Translation Sorry)
@@TaeHo_Park You can't pump the system like you're thinking. If you're making repairs to a condenser you need to remove all the refrigerant and purge with Nitro before you attempt to make repairs. You should also low flow nitrogen while brazing
thanks for making the video
Good idea
That's the exact noise on my 15 Sierra! Son of.......
@@BrianKenney-o3g I know that feeling lol
He left a big hold on the copper to aluminum. That is not flux .
Hope you get a million views
GREAT JOB!!! WHERE CAN I GET TORCH HEAD LIKE YOURS??
Home Depot or any hardware store
@@0komanji0 THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Nice one man
I have no idea what i just watched but this is peak content
Thank God I seen this video 🙌🏽 I have the same issue on my 2011 suburban ltz
Thaks for the video. Do you still prefer the Reme Halo? What about maintenance costs? The Reme is pretty expensive to replace bulbs and stuff. Iwave has no parts to replace and it self cleans.
Guys my does almost like that but it’s more of a rattle, not ticking like, it’s like a rattle and it starts but then goes away or stays for a while but it’s goes away!!
Hey man did you figure it out, been searching for weeks
Sounds like a rattle but gets significantly quieter when it’s warmed up? Just bought a 13 1500 with a 6.2 and 84k does the same thing. Can’t figure it out, any news?
Nice video!
You will begin to see a red "corona" in the flame as the aluminum comes up to temperature. You see red in your flame, dip the solder!
From your history of technical experience... which one has the best track record for removing odors?
How can I contact you? Do you have an instagram?
This was very helpful! Could you do a video on coil uv lights? wiring transformer?
Yea I can make a how-to on that
We love them hose 😂
Hi can you give me the full name of this brazing rods?
Harris is the manufacturer. I'm using the Aluxcor 78/22 rod.
@@0komanji0 Thank you for being so kind..
Thanks, this video had a ton of useful info
It might have been easier to use the multitude to get a clean-cut for the repair. Less damage to the fins
WHAT'S A MULTITUDE???
I have a pioneer 18k unit with a 40’ linset that I added additional r410a when installed. I want to move the unit to a different location because of a remodel. Will the unit only hold the amount for a 25’ linset when I pump it down or do I need to buy a tank to store the additional coolant?
Yes the condenser is only designed to hold the factory charge. I would claim the charge then weigh it back in after the unit is reinstalled.
Have a 2016 Suburban with the 5.3. $8900.00 later, we have new LIFTERS and a camshaft installed. Cylinder deactivation lifter failed. Old school lifters don't fail.
So far those LS engines seem to have ALOT of issues. I have come across two with ONLY 146k-148k with some kind of engine knock or noise in lower end.
My 5.3 LS has 254k on it, deleted the useless DOD and it runs like a champ!
Sounds like a diesel lol.
What seer is this? Is it a heatpump?
Depends on the tonnage. A 4HP18V36 matched to a BCE5V36M air handler is a 19.5 SEER 1. At 34,600 BTU. AHRI number is 206905446
No, at what time did you say to use flux?
The solder I use in this video has a flux core. You don't need additional flux.
Looks like you ended up taking off the heat shield. Lol
No. The heat shield is bolted to the exhaust manifold. I removed the manifold with heat shield in one piece.
@@0komanji0 ohhhh I see
I’m swapping my bolts out before they go bad!!!
Good demonstration! My experience with doing aluminum always turned out awful. The biggest difference I see is you are using a propane torch as opposed to an oxy acetylene rig os heat is more manageable.
Thank you. Yes I believe that the MAP gas is key for those that are not used to making these repairs.
Rig OS heat = ?
Damn I love youtube. I had no idea what that noise was. Thanks!!!
So reme halo led would be best of some one w asthma?
Dang nice job
Lol sounds exactly like mine at 5am on a 40 degree morning then it warms up and disappears thanks for the ideas
Right before u shut off the system, the gauge didn’t reach 0. It looks as it’s around 10 psi. So it is okay right? And does it mean we lose a little bit of Freon on every pump down? Lastly. Can the flares be reused? Or it’s best to make a new flare?
Best to always make new flare. My gauges may have been off a little because there was no pressure in the lines. But even if it was 10psi you not losing a significant amount if it is the first time on the system you are working on, but when I doubt always weigh in a new charge.
No Amps, it's voltage. The system is probably only drawing about 20 amps. The electronic disconnect is monitoring voltage to open the contacts if voltage goes above or below the set points.
I couldn't figure it out for 2 years now.... I went and checked my 2014 also.... And its the same two bolts.... I can't wait to get a quote lol
great video. thank you!
Thank you for this video! I was having the same issue and thought it was bad lifters, well I inspected and saw both rear exhaust manifold bolts missing and black soot. The damn truck is only 4 years old.. why is this so common? Come on GM! do better!
Aren't these competing products? Are you recommending installing all 3 or just showing 3 different systems?
Yes they are competing brands. I work for an HVAC distributor. I had just finished a IAQ webinar and figured I would unbox them on my channel. If I had to choose I would get the REME LED. I don't personally own any of them. I only have a UV in my unit.
Thank you do you have the link for the bolts by any chance?
Sorry I don't.
Have same noise, and when accelerating I can hear it also like from a dead stop. But, all my bolts are in and I even put a socket on them just to make sure. So, same noise but different location I guess. Any ideas on where else it could come from.
Maybe the gasket blew out. Id look for any black marks or other signs of a leak. You may have to pull the manifold off to tell.
Ayooooooooo thank you for posting this mine does the same thing I was thinking I had a lifter going
No problem. I Thought the same thing and that sinking feeling I had was so miserable I wanted to make a video that showed the sound as clear as possible. It wasn't that hard but you might need a welder.
Thanks for doing this video! Still working okay?
Yep. I only did the passenger side for now. Hopefully the driver side holds out until I get headers
