It's funny how things change The Mongolia dominated almost the entire continent of Eurasia, and now have only 3 million people. My city (São Paulo) has 4x more people than the country of Mongolia hahaha

Gengiz Khan is Turk (his name is Timuçinand its a Turkish word) and every 7 soldiers out of 8 in the army was Turk, and its was already like a Turk Mongol Union. And The army was Managed by Turk Commandos, and its System is Tenner Army system Which was Foıunded By Hun Turk Metehan on B.C. 209 its an information from Official Website of Turkish Armed Forces ''Turks ruled over numerous tribes of Central Asia and over other tribes living around a vast geography only with their powerful armies. Turks, who devoted themselves to the military, proved the world that they were an army-nation. Turks had never considered military to be a special profession because each Turkish man was thought to be born as a valiant warrior since the time of Turkish nations in Central Asia. As it was inscribed in the Göktürk monuments, the idea that military mission was bestowed by God became the very principle of the Turkish nation. The first organized army formed by the Emperor of the Asia Huns, Mete, in 209 B.C., has been accepted as the foundation of the Turkish Army and of the Turkish Land Forces. The first permanent Turkish Army established by Mete Han was based on the decimal organizational system. In this organization, the number of soldiers in the biggest unit was 10.000 and it was called "division". The divisions were divided into gradually decreasing troops of 1000, 100 and 10 soldiers. This organization has continued its existence with minor changes in all Turkish states.'' tsk.tr/ing/1_about_the_taf/1_1_history/history.htm and Huns have Nothing with Mongols. They Are Pure Turkish.and The Gokturks was like Second huns after European Huns(Atilla The Hun)

Wow.... i heard they engages in Afghanistan too... But very few people know about them. I even didn't know that "mongol" still exist(lol). Nobody knows how mongolian people look like, what's their style, what is their cities looks like, their government, etc. I think you guys should 'advertise' your own countries more and more. Mongolia have been a great and huge countries once... (until eastern Europe as i remember) Greetings from Indonesia!

I have heard they are VERY professional and rarely made any sound while in places like Sierra Leone. Just like peacekeepers should be, Silent Guardians. So a Salute to the Mongolian Peacekeepers for your conduct. You honor your Great Country !

@ConversationWkiller Mongolian invasion was useful for the development of western civilisation. In fact, the Pax Mongolia favoured the transmission of knowledges between Asia and Europe by passing across Middle east.

Watching videos like this it's hard not to think we've emerged from war and conquest, but it's so hard to ignore that underlying feeling that the same thirst for power exists throughout the world that did 1000, 2000 years ago. It was probably just as easy for the Romans to have visualized renewed everlasting peace just as we do now, and I'm aware there's still warfare today but I'm typing on a much grander scale

mongols were great warriors, their relentless attacking style and determination was far superior to any other empire of its time. all the spartan crap is over rated, mongols would annihilate both sparta and persia

I enjoyed this video. I am convinced that the Mongolian art, culture, and genealogy had great influence in the birth of the Tartars and many cultural aspects of the steppe countries, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgizstan, and even Afghanistan. I don't think it is a coincidence that many Afghanis and Tajiks have Khan in their last name.
