Ranger Day To Day
Переглядів 1006 років тому
Got a new bumper setup from a buddy and had some other rioting about gas along with a nice lil burnout
Desperately needs long tubes
if you use brake cleaner on a maf you are one stupid bastard
Dude with the HP you gained combining all these techniques, you could have just put a K&N sticker on the back glass. Same HP, less time.
what kind of supercharger is that been trying to find one for my truck
Straight pipe?
Maybe rev it higher
I would recommend a y-pipe and using a single 3" pipe all the way out. It'll smooth out and deepen the sound a lot but still be plenty loud. I imagine this setup is headache inducing with the noise and how it comes out right under the cab.
Youre still a grasshopper, don't try to be a teacher until you know yourself. Good luck with the 'ol ranger.
You must be the terror of the neighborhood in that truck!
You don't know shit , put a throttle body spacer and a stage 2vclutch kit and that's about all you can do , o yea take that stupid cat off and put a muffler bank on it , your traction bars are gay too
Brings back memories. thank you
Pull both hose clams on each side of your intake muffler or whatever the fuck they want to call it. You can’t miss it. Remove it from the intake system and look inside. There is sort of a sleeve in there with some holes drilled in it. Rip that bitch out of the intake muffler and hook up the muffler back in line how you took it apart. The insert you removed is restrictive and it may be a noticeable difference. Especially if you drill some holes on the bottom of your air box closest to the fender on the dirty air side of the air filter. There is a tube that goes through the engine compartment into a cavity at the front fender. Rip that lame tube off. Cold air flows actually very well behind the headlights so it’s perfect for your now modded air box. I’m willing to bet the intake mods plus your straight pipe will give you some ponies you can feel.
Dude my ford f350 v10 with no cats sounds better than this
Well, at least you can put a Cummins badge on the truck and it would be ok
Kinda reminds me of a Cummins at idle
Sounds awesome. These ricer lovers can go suck cock and celebrate pride.
Need to run those out the back to some 6 inch tips and see if it claps like v8 and v6 squat trucks do.
You may have dodged the bullet using brake cleaner on a mass air flow sensor, when it's been said you shouldn't use anything other than a cleaner made specifically for it.
It did a good job doing five or 600 pounds above it’s tow rating!!
He did a good job towing five or 600 pounds above it’s tow rating!!
Towing 5,000 lb and that ain't nothing for a truck like that I had one with a 360 Magnum V8 and tow 9,000 pounds with it it struggled but it did it
F250 460
Driving the truck Colton
Colton the truck
Ford F250 7.5L GASSER
, so clean my air flow sensor with brake cleaner, so then if I need to clean brake parts I should use chicken broth, hmmm, ok, makes sense
Is the catalytic converter restrictive? It can be... especially if it's an older model, with a lower cell count to it's treated monolithic bricks, or uses a pellet bed. Solution: Get a new(er) one! Maybe a high-flow model with a treated metal substrate. Don't go completely eliminating your muffler & tailpipe... the noise in the cab will make driving it tiring. Try mounting a good choice of high-flow "turbo" muffler instead, or--in this guy's case--at least put a long glass-pack muffler/resonator on the end. The resulting note might surprise you, even with a 4-cyl! And while you're at it, build your exhaust with Mandrel-bent pipes--they flow better! But don't go bigger in the pipe size, unless your engine exponentially flows that much more air... because it'll defeat what you're attempting to do: Improve the exhaust gases to help the engine run more efficiently and produce more power.
That’s what I’m trying to do with mine, I’m fairly certain that this is the issue with mine, it’s a 92
Sounds like my moms old 1993 Ranger with a Flowmaster.
Can I buy zip ties at the speed shop?
Hey man can I use this video for my UA-cam channel. I will credit you
They make mass air flow sensor cleaner brake fluid leaves residue on it
Don't laugh it's got 300 hp and almost 500 torque and 99 2000s had 310 hp with 500 torque ... v10 was built to pull with the commins or better....👀
Yo I am 13 years old and I am getting a ford ranger and this video helps anlot
So I’m other words you actually did zero performance mods lmao
He was basically showing how to maintain your power from factory
You lost me when you said clean maf with brake cleaner 🤣🤦🏻♂️
I pulled 7000 lbs with my 01 v10 bout 3 months ago I drove 4 hrs sucked gas & hills were s#%+ but n.p i love my v10
I think people are used to how bigger trucks with so much tq tow so easy iv pulled alot of random stuff in my year's with 4 cylinder rangers and toyotas.... No they don't hit 60 in 6 secs. But they can tow stuff such as atvs, zero turns, ext. Pretty easy there not fast by themselves any how, I used to tow about 3,000 or maybe 3,000lb enclosed trailer loaded with a little toyota 22re wasn't fast by no means but I could mantain 65 to 70 realistically pretty easy once it got there!!
It’s amazing that people expect a performance car! When the truck is pulling 3/4 to 500 pounds above the max tow rating!
Bro your timing chain its fuck up fix it and give more gas bro that was so slow
Sounds like a 300i6
Worst sounding V10 ever... Sounds like a 5 cylinder diesel with a snapped exhaust.
What kind of lift is on there
None stock
Colton Cheever nice. I don’t know why my dodge rides so low in the front. Yours looks a lot better
SuperCab
Dam my 2005 kia spectra is faster then that i swear 6x12 trailer single axle 36inch stander and 48inch stander with weed eater rack 3 and 2 blowers with trunk full of shit. Not Putin you down just stateing a fact. 2005 spectra 5 speed 2.0l twin cam 140hp 136tq Ranger 2.3l or 2.5l single cam. 119hp 146tq Ranger 2.3l or 2.5l single cam
Well the ranger wasn't made to tow or for power it was a light duty work truck good on gas and get you from point a to b with little to no issues and their damn near the most reliable truck ever made
Now why the hell are you using a spectra to haul crap🤣
I'm going to need a good truck to pull a bobcat in the future, how bad is that v10 on gas?
Gene Vickers towing I’d say average about 7-8 empty probably anywhere from 8-13 depending on how u drive
Epic micropenis bro, not sure what you did to that engine, but my 360 magnum v8 sounds better
Sounds like a 4 banger🤣🤣
Nothing like it at all i know it because i own one lol
Jesus, my fuckin 4.3L v6 sounds better than this😂😂
I like your blue interior...
Sounds awesome..... nooot
I have one sounds exactly like that cut the cats and back completely off
