Why not pull the motor from the truck you just got and put it in the truck that was already built.
@@RobSharp-wo5qj good question, I think it has to do with how the government program works on getting surplus vehicles. Can't use it as a parts truck, but because the other truck doesn't work and they've had it over 12 months, it can become a parts truck. Government.

We have build 3 Tenders, 2 where Tactical Tenders. We have another one in the works for this fall too. I did videos of them.

Very simple and efficient. Just something I would add besides the front bumper monitor would be a manual monitor midship mounted when things are tough it gives a good help. It is something we have for many years and is very useful.
Another great looking rig. Like the doors . Would really like to build a water tender

That’s great to have 4000gal tender in an area with no water supply.Great for both wildland and structure firefighting. Would be great for herein BC right now. We are getting our butts kick by fires started by lightning.
We are too. New starts around us from lighting, mainly South and West.

We use it for pump and roll. Can be operated by the driver, which is important when you don't have a lot of volunteers.

It was missing an turbo exhaust tube. The agency had one there when it was dropped off. The fix made all the difference in the world. My agency has one, not built for speed, but it can climb mountains.

How do you raise the cab for engine maint. with that mounted on the front?
The front nozzle mount has a pin holding it in place. Pull the pin and you can lower the entire nozzle system. The cab can be lowered then.

Sorry, don't have any for sale. The one's we have are surplus to the departments we are building for. I see them all the time for sale on the internet.

How long does it usually take to do a build?
It all depends on the customer and what they want in the build. It varies from truck to truck, sometimes they show up and we have to repair them. Just guessing, if we had all the parts 3 to 6 weeks. We get delayed alot because of parts.

Those little Wajax rancher skids are awesome we build or buy those for all the ranchers down here in eastern Oregon. Perfect for a small fire. Where abouts are you guy's?

Is there a Air base close by?
Navy Air Station on Whidbey Island. Maybe a 15 minute flight with those birds on full burn.
