It's crazy to think that just 6 years earlier For All Tid had been released and they were churning out almost an album a year and with completely different sounds, musical solutions and productions from each other. a band I have always loved and will always love, Shagrath is a Genius.

I hate to say it, but I pretty strongly suspect those vocals from Vortex are not really live, the amount of reverb and sustain on them is massive, and his performance doesn't really match with what I hear.

People seem to forget Astennu (Jamie Stinson), the excellent soloist for this band. Shame he left... (got booted). But yeah... Mustis and Vortex (and his voice) complemented the sound in such a good way. The way he holds that note whilst the guitars and keys continue to play is giving me goosebumps. Nowadays DB is shit.
