Copper, coal, tobacco, and beer were also exported into the port. Today, it is much quieter. Th...

Excellent!
BEAUTIFUL!!
It's about time that decisions were made to make this beautiful railway a great heritage attraction and bring greatly needed business into the area.
Excellent Phil. 👏
Hi Phil great aerial photography you have a new subscriber I'm putting together the film for the relay for life weekend and i will be putting a credit roll at the end what is your Film Credit name ?
Hi Adrian, I hope you are well, I just use Phil Hen.
Nice! Volunteered with them for a couple years before I moved overseas over a decade ago. Seeing this is very nostalgic!
AWESOME!!
Who did you get permission off to fly in this area as it’s a FRZ
It's not an FRZ, as my drone would not take off in those areas without first getting unlock codes from the relevant authorities, Cemaes and surrounding areas are restricted areas, so when you try to take off, you are made aware of the proximity of Wylfa, and you then tick a box that you do not intend to fly over Wylfa.. As you can see in the video the drone didn't go anywhere near Wylfa,
@@malltraeth100 DJI have removed the restrictions on drones so will still take off in frz now (stupid imo) so is it legal to fly here? This restriction zone has always confused me and looking online I’ve not found much information about it, drone assist says to contact valley
@@TMA_Droning@TMA_Droning It will take off, but it's up to us to be sensible in our actions. Yesterday, I recorded as part of my involvement with the event. If I am doing stuff around Valley or Mona, then that's a different story. There is no way it will leave the ground unless I get the codes. Did the controller ask you to tick a box when you were at the brickwork? sometimes it does other times it doesn't and that's the problem.
@@malltraeth100 I know someone who’s flown in the valley frz and took off no problem with a DJI mini 4 (he didn’t realise he was inside) I’ve never had a box come up at brickworks I have in other places like football stadiums etc
Lovely footage, thanks for sharing.
You've inspired me to take my drone out of its box Phil. Another great video!
BEAUTIFUL!!
Great video Phil. I loved fishing there back in the day
Thanks Andrew, I spent hours there myself either fishing with fly or worm,
Did u win ‽?
Nice work
AWESOME!!
👍🔊🌐🥸📺💥
BEAUTIFUL!!
Why so slow? How come the retaining rope/wire is released by hand and not mechanically by the Coxwain or even automatically?
Training launches are not rushed, and they are released manually because it's safer to do so. The system is tried and tested, and it's what we think works best for boat and shore crew.
That is so cool to see. Wonderful work. Wonderful boat. Wonderful video. Thank you.
3 minutes to launch a lifeboat when lives are at stake... Really?🤦♂
It's a routine training launch, so no rush.
They haven’t got time to rush…
Never rush these things. Taking 3 minutes to ensure everything is good can save you several minutes correcting issues at sea.
💞Wow💚💚💚💗💚💚💚
😉😉👍👍👍👍👍
Brilliant footage! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Awesome, I have never seen the recovery before, God bless the RNLI
Lovely shots of an impressive vessel. This puts me in mind of a trip i was lucky enough to enjoy on the Angle lifeboat, named The Lady Rank, back in the 1980s. It was the day of a regatta in Pembroke Dock, during the school summer holidays, and my family were friends with a number of the lifeboat crew, so we, and all the kids from the village were allowed to ride in the boat, down the slipway, across to pembroke dock, and back again. Amazing experience i shall never forget. Unlike what can be seen in this clip, the procedure for that boat was for it to effectively ram the slipway, nose first. The boat would come to rest on a carriage which ran on the slipway. The carriage and the boat would then be hauled up the ramp with a steel cable. Before the boat could be put away, it was turned 180 degrees by the crew pushing it around by hand, using a turntable built into the carriage on which it sat. The slipway was much narrower than the boat was long, so the crew needed to squeeze up as the boat got to halfway around, or else theyd fall off and onto the rocks below. I remember thinking what a dangerous operation this was, and would have been much more so at night, and in a howling gale. The angle lifeboat, slipway and boathouse are now replaced with a newer, safer design, not unlike the one shown here.
In the 60,s dad and l went on the old lifeboat l was 5 or 6 yrs old it was a open day loved every minute

in 1481, the Papal Registers record the petition of John Mac Costigan, an Osraí cleric, relating to the rectories of Achadh Bhó (Aghaboe) and Bordaíol (Bordwell) (Twemlow, 1955). Subsequent records, from 1488 and 1493, name him as John Mac Costigan alias Mac Giolla Phádraig (Twemlow, 1960; Fuller, 1998), and he later reverted to the sole use of Mac Giolla Phádraig, a name by which was able to exert more significant influence in Rome. Cullahill Castle was built around 1425, by Finghin MacGillapatrick whom had a son named John.
Even in a seemingly calm sea you can see the effect of the waves broadside.
