Very harsh on O’Hare lads, he does more than run around. He links play, presses well and nicks balls off the opposition. Getting better every game. Not keen on getting BBD back, he just had a purple patch for us in a crap Prem team, and he’s injury prone, surely there’s better LW available on loan from the Prem ? Brookes hasn’t looked good enough the few times he’s come on, lacks confidence, maybe needs a loan or a run of games against bottom half teams? United 1, Burnley 0 ⚔️

Brooks never takes his man on and whips a cross in, gets the ball, runs a couple strides then checks back looking for help. Not enough confidence in himself, until he gets that he won't get starts or even any game time.

If rucksack was out player he wouldn't be getting the amount of playing time as he is. He brings nothing to the team leaving the right back exposed, just jogging around through the games. Brooks is out player and has lost half a season of improvement. I can only see we are doing this so palace don't recall and loan him out to a rival. Brooks seems like a lad who needs the arm round him, feels needed and belief in his own abilities. He started the season off like he had finally got it. To hear Mr Wilder say he's not doing it in training is back to the days when players not doing it on the pitch were protected by the he's great in training mantra. Arblaster and Peck are both examples of our own being good enough and deserving of a run of games to get better and better than attempting to develop someone else's players who then needs replacing next season

The sale to the American consortium has been confirmed, so hopefully we can buy/loan some new players in January.
