I'm documenting my life in college at the University of Florida. I'll show you what everyday life is like, as well as more niche topics like academics, dorms, work, social life, etc.
All about UF's nightlife in Gainesville - Going out at University of Florida
Going over the many options going out at the University of Florida in Gainesville. There are 3 clubs and 1 bar that are available for 18-21 year olds, while most other places require you to be 21. From the bars in Midtown, clubs in Downtown, the frats, and even the occasional party from a sports club. The most popular spots in GNV are JJ's Tavern, MacDinton's, White Buffalo, and DownTown Fats. Surf club also hosts some good parties, and all the frats on frat row are great options for girls. Frats usually have bars in the back and are lots of fun, though you will need to pay a LOT of money to be admitted (or not be let in at all, as in most cases).
Notice: A lot of people use fake IDs to get into the 21+ bars. This is really risky, as sometimes police raid bars and owning a fake ID is illegal. I have gotten by fine in Gainesville without a fake ID, as the sport club parties and frats with low cover are easy to come by.

Hello, I wanted to ask. Could you help me whit some simple research? I watched one of your other Vlogs, about your daily classes. How would a buissy day look like for you, whitout classes? I am about to make a short halloween story, and I thought I could write about a collage kid just doing his regular daily activitys while some subtil supernatural stuff happens, and over time it gets more and more threatening. But im also a bit of a odd ball, so I dont realy know what other people usually do in if they go out for the day.

Jennings brings back interesting memories! I lived at Jennings as a freshman '76-'77--it looks like it has improved a LOT. January in Gainesville? If you had been there in January of 1977, you would have had two days of SNOW off and on! We actually built a small snowman on the north lawn of Jennings near the police station (I assume the police station is still next to Jennings, but don't know) and gave him some lewd features. Quite the good memories except when my roomie and I got yanked out of our room in winter and got "ponded" in the little stream that runs between Jennings and the Beaty Towers complex! I contribute to the student food pantry and the Field to Fork program and am happy to know someone like you has benefitted from it. Have a great rest of the year and GO GATORS!
I don't know how this ended up in my feed, but it was short so loaded it up. Jennings Hall?? I lived there in 1976 and it was a shithole back then-hopefully better these days.

Exactly! A lot of my friends feel the same way. It's like social hunger games. Everyone rushes in at the start, then if you don't have any friends, you're on your own.
