Converting my propane grill to charcoal - 3
Nice work can you tell us about where to find plans thanks for sharing
Two pieces of half inch round tubing slightly behind your hinges would do the trick as well.
Nice looking pirogue where did u get plans I like the shape better than most I have seen
hi dad
Got these drills holed out :) Thanks for these videos. Very helpful. I ordered the same kit and I’m referring back during assembly 👍
thats tight
the real mccoy!
Looks great. I like the guys answer to adding wait......"FISH !!! " ...... LOL
u suck.. lol
Looking for the welding............got three small holes in mine and wanted to see what ya did dude!
Weld on a new firebox. A good smoker should be 1/4 inch thick and the firebox should be 1/2 inch thick
greetings sir, can I get the paint in my country in Indonesia and what brand do you use
Hey Dan! I bought an older Oklahoma joe just like this one you restored. Do you know the model on it? I have the ash drawer too and can’t find parts for it. Char-Broil could give me any info.
GrillPartsUSA out of WI....
Did you ever find the ash drawer for your Oklahoma Joe smoker? I have this same smoker and need a new ash drawer but can't find one.
Very cool!
Super dope vid!!
does it do any good to heat paint the OK Joe before first use? will it help prevent rust, corrosion, paint failure?
You might want to add an outrigger that thing looks unstable!!
I paddled in a similar boat last weekend. They are initially tender, but stiffen up as they lean to one side or the other. Also, it's only 12 feet long, if it was closer to 15, it would be a bit more stable as well.
what was that yellow thing that was spinning in the water and does it stay there
Mine is rotted on bottom of fire box what did u do ro patch the hole up
Hoping to do this one very soon. More than likely a solo. How far off the trail do you pitch?
Plan on doing my first solo Weekender soon. I've done a lot of day hiking out there. And tons and tons of regular car camping. Can't wait to get out there on the trail overnight.
How do you guys get back to your vehicle ?
Have you ever smoked a turkey?
How much money it cost, guide fishing on Lake Conroe?
They sold me an aluminum drum. Can't weld aluminum
Dan, Thanks for sharing, subbed and gave you a 👍🏼. If you get the chance stop by my channel, I just started it about a month ago if you like what you see like, subscribe and give me a 👍🏼 I'd appreciate it!
How well does the cooking chamber hold heat
No worse thing is watching and have it end before you even finish. I take it that it was an epic fail.
is she still floating
Can you stand up in the piroque?
Yes. I can standup and paddle.
How do I obtain the plans for that vessel?
I got my plans from here www.unclejohns.com/boat/
Go to WoodPrix page if you want to learn how to build it yourself
I've just made it. If you want you can learn on WoodPrix website how to make it.Best solutions I think.
Great video thank you. how steady is your canoe
This was a really helpful video! Thank you. I was trying to imagine what the steep sections would offer and now I have a better idea so I can plan.
Yup this is quite a smarty way to do it, if you look at Woody Hyezmar’s woodworking plans (google him) you’ll find creative alternatives and ideas.
This is going in my to-do list, first I have to finish this really awesome project I found in Woody Hyezmar’s Woodworking Bible, as seen on his website. Thanks for the video, bookmarked!
do it yourself , go to woodprix page and learn how .
This time I'll use woodprix instructions to make it by myself.
I'm sure the best instruction is on woodprix website.
So who of us can weld and do this to convert a gas grill to charcoal?? Just gonna thow wood in mine see what happens since we are out of gas.
where do u put in...shuttle?
Thanks for the video I want to do this but I'm not good at building things
Short trip. I went to La Grange from Webberville. 3 nights, four days.
turn-two stainless steel gas grill into charcoal 20 years old and probably going to go another 20
I like how he had the face shield on but never pulls it down while grinding. Lol
You can use woodprix, it has the best handbooks and ready instructions. You can learn much from them and make it yourself.
the FCAW process he is usi g even though it may be FCAW-S can still handle those surface impurities, its not GMAW running ER70S-6 where the joint needs to b all nice and clean, FCAW can handle rust, other that tbat this video is really good
how do I know if my 55 gal barrels the right type of barrels to use?
Job well done...
I did that trip but went on to La Grange. A pressing four day trip. The only good camping I found was a little downstream from Smithville. My goal is to put in at La Grange and go to Matagorda.
where is the seasoning for??and what oil u use.??Olive oil??
It makes a protective barrier for your cook chamber. You can use olive oil, I personally use beef tallow.
