Mazda 3 BP 4th Gen 2019 - 2024 A Pillar Noise Rattle Sound Source Fix
Переглядів 2,8 тис.2 місяці тому
The video was filmed on a Mazda 3 BP 4th Gen Hatchback 2021 Model year. The A pillar rattle noise is from the plastic pins holding the electrical wire harness and curtain airbag plastic pin. This sound usually transfers up in the headliner, making the sound appear to come from it. The safety clip that holds the A pillar trim to the car tends to rattle as well. Place some tessa tape on it and a ...

POV Ride Honda CBR650R Avoiding Morning Traffic
Should the battery be disconnected first before this repair (regarding the curtain airbags)?
Hello. Sure, for extra saftey you can disconnect the battery. But if you are carefull there is no need.
Hi, I want to ask you why you shift to N at the traffic light?
Hello, it's just because I don't want to keep my foot on the brake all the time :) I put it in Neutral so i can relax :D. If the road has an angle to it, then I keep my foot on the brake or use the Auto Hold feature if I am feeling lazy :D
Activate the Auto-Hold function before every ride and you don't have to shift to N :)
Hi, I used your method with my car which contains AFS, and I can confirm it works! AFS did a little dance to adjust to default alignment but all good so far!
Happy to hear it workd and the video was helpfull for you :)
Hi I have a question, does this procedure work if you have auto levelimg/AFS system? I have the same car and I want to change it but Im afraid of misalignment after Im done!
Hello, it shouldn't be a problem if when chaging the HID bulbs you don't pull too hard or be to agressive when installing the bulb. But if you are not comfortable with the work I recommend going to a shop / mechanic.
hi. Do you have a video or link how to remove the trim for mazda cx-90? Thanks
Hi, unfortunatley I do not have access to a CX-90, but the removal of the B billar trim should be the same as in the instructions. Just remove the weather stripping, look for any covers that would cover a screw to remove the screws and the gently pull on the plastic trim.
Can I use sponge instead of foam tape at Airbag clip there?
I guess you can, yes. If you manage to keep it in place.
@@DCHero15 Okay, thanks!
@@DCHero15 Is it safe to put foam tape under the Airbag clip?
I would think so. As long as the round airbag clip is securely in place in the A pillar. Or are you referring to the one at the top near the headliner ? (I just put a small piece of foam tape to stop that small movement. The clip is still securely inserted in place)
Well I did the process again, I filled the spaces with foam and it worked! Thank you for sharing this video!
Glad to hear it helped :D
Nice POV. Is it easy to handle for a beginner?
Hello, yes. It's very easy to handle as a beginner and its easy to ride it :)
@DCHero15 Thanks so much!
Sending love and support all the way from Somalia ❤
Thank you
I have a Mazda 3 2020, there is a rattle in the dashboard, I followed all the steps you indicate in your video but the rattle continues :(
I am going to buy a large piece of foam and I will fill the entire dashboard with foam, hopefully it works
Is the rattle still coming from the speaker grill ? If yes, the apply some Tessa tape tot the metal clips of the speaker housing that go in the dashboard, so the clips are held better in place. Also if the rattle is coming from inside the dashboard, there are some computer modules that tend to vibrate / rattle, also under the passenger airbag as well.
Where did you get the foam tape from? Does it matter the diameter or width of it?
I bought it from the local hardware store. It’s a foam insulating tape for outdoor water pipes. I’m sure your Home Depot / other brand store of local hardware would have something similar. The diameter I say would be 5 mm (height) and 2 cm width. Hope it helps
Thanks a lot, i have a cx30 and i think have the same noise
Glad the video helped you out
Don't do it yourself, shout at them, complain, it's under warranty! Not just Mazda, all cars went to shit lately with quality control and annoying rattles.
For other problems that I cannot fix myself, yes I go to the dealer. On the other hand I like to fix things 😂 so the problems I can solve I would like to try and do them
Do you recommend this car?
Hello, yes I do recommend it. It’s a good car and good value for money. Interior quality is very good and good looking and the exterior as well. Currently I have no problems with it, all works good with no problems.
Underground 2 vibes 😂❤
NFS old school
Amazing 🎉
Thanks 😄
Do they have auto turn off function if battery goes below a certrain voltage? Or should i wire through relay? :) Thanks for video.
The way Daytona recommends to wire the heated grips in the installation manual is via the ignition wire. (Accessory power) That means they will receive power only when the motorcycle is switched on and turn off when the bike is off. I guess you could wire them via a relay if you want to 🤷🏻♂️. I just followed their recommendation from the installation manual. 🤓
Yooo this is so nestalgic befor I started riding ninjas and stuff I used to have a PCX 125 it was such a chill ride! If you got anytime could we go for a ride around? It’s so cool seeing them again! But right now I got a 1000cc Nija HR
I plan to get a Ninja 1000SX myself, to replace my CBR650R sometime in the future.
I have a sedan 2022 and finally found a video with exactly the same annoying sound! I just removed the info screen and made some adjustments and added some padding’s to the screen base, but it just fixed the issue partially. Now it’s cold weather here in Ensenada Mexico, so the sound is gone (appears with the heat). If the sound comes back to life again, I’m gonna apply this fix. Thank you so much! This is helpful as hell. Btw, you should publish your video in Reddit community 😊.
Hey there, glad the video helped you out. I posted the video on some reddit groups and some facebook groups as well. If you have any reddit groups dedicated to Mazda 3 please go ahead and share the video :) Thanks for the support :D
Thank you so much! I have the same rattele appear every now and then in my 3, and it has been driving me crazy.
Glad the video helped you out.
Hello! Thank you for showing me how to fix the creak!!! I'm from Russia and I also have a Mazda3 BP with the same problem
Good to know I could help 🙂
Thanks for the video. May I ask what type of hid bulb connector it’s? 😊
Hello, it is D4S
@@DCHero15 thanks for the video, managed get it done. My AFS was blinking after change the change, do u know what's the issue?
I don’t really know what could have been the issue. Did you in any way move the mechanism of the light bulb when changing the light ? The model I worked on did not have AFS. Perhaps the car needs a calibration to get clear of the AFS. A OBD2 diagnostic could help in this case.
off and on the AFS button, then AFS light is gone. But when i tested turning the steering wheel, AFS is not functioning. Need to relook into the installation if I've move the mechanism.
I have a creak in dash, sounds like a creaky rocking chair when accelerate from stop or even put car in gear. Any suggestions???
Hmm hard to tell. In my case I had a bolt that was not tightened properly. The bolt in question was the one that holds the interior hvac fan, located under the glove box. The bottom bolt under the passenger floor carpet.
@@DCHero15 I will check that. This comes from HUD / instrument part of dash. Dealer can’t hear 😭 I will find it. And I will fix it. 💪🕵️♂️
@@ryanmclean2658 for the HUD rattle / noise there is a service bulletin from Mazda regarding that. Models before 2021 I think are affected. You should check with the dealer
Thanks!!!!
HI! Congratulations and thanks for the help you give through the video! Have you noticed noises behind the steering wheel in the headup display area?
Hello, My 2021 model year does not have any rattle / noise coming from the HUD. However older models I think have that problem. There is a service bulletin out regarding that issue. To fix that rattle, foam is needed to be inserted on the areas that vibrate. Hope this helps.
@@DCHero15 Thank you! I'll go to the dealer for explanations✌
whats your experience on these? hows the build quality and do they get hot enough? I've had oxford heated grips but always had issues with them, looking to switch to these
I installed Oxford Heated Grips on a Kawasaki Vulcan S, 2 years ago. They are still doing their job quite well. No complaints with them. The Daytona is a first. Build quality seems much better than the ones from Oxford. The design is much sleeker, with the power on button and mode selection hidden on the left grip. Yes, they get toasty hot :D No complaints so far with them. If you want to buy them, go ahead. You won’t go wrong 😊
Did you have the installation instructions for mazda 6 2020 and above?
You can find them on Mazda’s website from the region you are from. There should be a section dedicated to accessories.
Cool looking ride bro. But by the concept of Black Body. Isn't it scorching hot riding in such a weather wearing all black?
In the summertime yes, it would get a bit toasty 😂. The video was filmed in October, when it wasn’t that hot outside. It was around 20 degrees Celsius that day (68 Fahrenheit)
Good job! I'm also having a rattle but it seems to be coming more from the B pillar or the driver's door...; nevertheless, thanks for a very useful tip...
Thank you for the support. I also have a short UA-cam video for the B pillar rattle that you can check out
@@DCHero15 Good to know. Thanks a lot...
Thank you so much, man!! Very useful. Keep doing this kind of clips, it’s helpful.
Thank you for the support !
when you see the back side of the bumper, you can actually see the markers where you have to drill the holes, if you do this, don't measure, just drill where the markers are, you are near, but you can place them like oem
Yes, correct. I should have done that, but I decided to follow the instruction manual that came with the kit. Next time I install parking sensors on a same model year mazda 3 I will do so, and drill in the pre marked holes :)
Is this japan ?
No, it’s in Romania.

Which year model?
Hi, it’s a 2021 model year. Hatchback for the European market.
Hello, thank you for this step but step installation process.. Any idea where i can source all the required parts that you mentioned? Can't find Parts c840-v7-282 and c830-v7-291 on ebay or mazda genuine reseller website. I appreciate your help. Thank you
Hello, I have bought the parking assist kit directly from a mazda dealer. I don’t know if you can find them outside of a Mazda dealer. Go to your Mazda dealer and try to see with them if they can provide the parts for you
Ragazzi sapete dirmi se è possibile montare il variatore multivar 2000 su pcx anno 2023?
I don’t know what that is. What is that ?
You don't seem completely comfortable when shifting the bike. 🤔
That’s correct. Good eye 😉 The suspension on the bike is not that good, the front end feels weird. My CBR650 feels much more stable and the front end feels more planted on the ground.
you should upload a tutorial video on how to remove the parts like that to expose those rattling pieces. I have no idea how to do it.
Hello, if you click on the video description, I made a PDF explaining how to take the B Pillar plastics off.
B Pillar removal instroctions can be found here: drive.google.com/file/d/18qMoy9_OIVgPHPRkVrO0X8AlfRyaHvPW/view?usp=sharing
just ignore point 1 because u dont want to change the belt.. you just want to lose the cover slide it down between seat and lower B-Piller so you have access to the points shown in the video :)

Hi, I am planing to ride same road in september with my friends on bicykles, so I should be ready to meet at least 2-3 of them up to the hill ? :/ Wauu they don´t look agresive but one never know ... OMG
Hey, as long as you don't get near the bears or try to give them food it shoud be ok. Just keep your distance. Since you will be traveling by bicycle, I recommend you have some anti bear spray with you just in case to be safe.
Amazing bike , u need a exhaust system to make it sound like a retro bike
