Election sa Tejeros Convention
The Tejeros Convention, also known as the Tejeros Assembly or Tejeros Congress, was a pivotal meeting held on March 22, 1897, in San Francisco de Malabon (now General Trias), Cavite. This assembly brought together two factions of the Katipunan-the Magdiwang and Magdalo.
The main purpose of the convention was to resolve internal conflicts and establish a unified revolutionary government. However, the meeting quickly descended into chaos, with accusations of fraud and heated debates. Emilio Aguinaldo of the Magdalo faction was elected as the president, while Andrés Bonifacio of the Magdiwang faction was elected as the Director of the Interior.
