thomas and brenda - get u the moon [AU]
i've had this in the works for the past few months but i never got it quite right. i decided it was better off without transitions because of the simplicity of the story. read below for details. xx.
brenda and thomas knew each other before the maze. both working for wicked, they had a big relationship and clearly meant a lot to each other. brenda had been experimented on and essentially abandoned by wicked because she wasn't immune as previously assumed. wicked then sent thomas to the maze. before the two were separated their memories were wiped and they have little to no recollection of each other (they essentially just know they loved someone and they were separated). they reunite and build a friendship! learning about each other and their pasts (flashback sequences) until thomas begins to put the pieces together that brenda and him loved each other. they rekindle their previous relationship and ALL IS GOOD IN THE WORLD.

I have a feeling in my chest that I may not get over. But at least Thomas and Brenda KIND OF ended up together at the end of Death Cure, even when they bearly had any chemistry because Thomas was onto Teresa at the time and how things changed between them.
But in the books Thomas started kinda disliking Theresa after the Scorch...Right?
@@r.a.k4390 Well, he could`nt, but he still could`nt get over why she betrayed him and his friends when she told Thomas she was experimenting on her mother. But no, I`m not familiar with what was done in the books, though, I still find it similar.

@@r.a.k4390 He started hating her on the books because of what she did, and at the same time he met Brenda, and he started liking her, even tho he felt like he was cheating Teresa *pretty stupid*, but in the book, he kinda forget her, and she saved his life. But at the end, he pulled Brenda closer, she kissed him and they watched the sunset together. So in the books they pretty much cleared their relationship. In the movie was hinted and I hated it, because it was something that wasn't that hard to portray, but the director didn't gave their relationship justice like the books, but yeah the two of them ended in the safe place

I think Veronica has a thing for Betty but she immediately dismissed it because she doesn't see Betty liking her back in a romantic way. The scenes that led me to think of this is: 1. The way she looks at Betty after they kiss. It's like she didn't expect to enjoy that kiss that much. 2. She once said to Betty "sometimes, the people we like, don't like us back" 3. She likes Archie too, but without knowing Betty that much (without actually being friends) she willingly avoids her romance with the boy, so that Betty doesn't hurt. 4. She stands up for Betty and defends her from Cheryl; at this point, they just met, and she goes all ballistics on the red head, because she messed with Betty. 5. The way Veronica stares at dark Betty (hot tub scene with chuk). She is surprised and concerned because she didn't see dark Betty coming, but I feel like she is also breath taken by Betty's beauty and the intensity of the moment. I don't know if I'm delusional, but maybe I'm not the only one hehe.
