This video is inspired (and sometimes down right copied : )) by Andrew, who's video I am linking here. I love his channel, his cinematography, his style of communication. I thought it would be fun to try and duplicate it. I failed lol, but it was fun trying! If your 40 or 50 or 70 and want to start youtube channel- just start it. The rest will follow- if you build it-they will come (smile) ua-c...

Nice work. Love the hour glass ❤
Thank you! It keeps me moving lol
Just wanted to say thank you for this video! It was very relaxing 😌 Looking forward to trying the almond milk recipe.
Please doooooo! You will NOT regret it!!! It’s soooo good. And please let me know how it turned out🥰
I like your style! Subscribed! I’m on that path too. If you can stay real as you make those little improvements you will go far. I can’t wait to watch!
I think it’s a challenge to be consistent and myself at the same time lol
What u share is so real!
Thank you.. I’m going to do more of these because I can better we I record myself doing it lol
Feel the same. Thanks
I wouldn't know that's pajamas basket if u didn't tell 😂
Lol, good!!!!!! I was like🤦🏽♀️ whyyyyyy?🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for testing it out for us-- faceless, voiceless UA-camrs. We got this!
You got this!
One way I motivate myself to clean is organize a gathering at home. I know that's bad reason to clean, as if I need others (visiting me) to get me off my butt, but it works. Anything that tricks me into doing something is gd in my books.
Yessssss!!!! Nothing like hurry up company is coming!!!!🤣🤣🤣
@@findinghomeagain03 Yoo-hoo!
Glad I found your channel. I am a true believer in what you said about improving one thing with each upload. People may or may not care for it but it is a rewarding feeling that adds value no matter what.
I completely agree. I need to make sure I’m doing that slowly though because I tend to be impatient with myself and want to improve overnight!!!!🤦🏽♀️
Many viewers on youtube watch but don't sub. I may watch a few videos from a channel and decide it's not for me so I may not sub. But channels I enjoy, I will always subscribe. My channel is brand new, only 2 weeks old and I have under 30 subs. I put out my first few videos that I know aren't the best because I was learning the software, learning how everything worked, etc. But a few newer videos came out and I really like them! I still have views in the teens, and definitely under 40. I hope my channel grows! Thank you for sharing your info!
I’ll check out your channel. Thanks for the comment! I’m trying to remember to enjoy the journey🥰
@@findinghomeagain03 I am passionate about healthcare, I have been working in healthcare for 15 years and counting and I believe the info I share will help people. And obviously being monetized is the dream, and seeing other channels blow up I think it's possible. But I remember struggling to find info on certain health issues and it was overwhelming. I wanted to make short but info packed videos that clearly described issues and solutions. Not that I thought I'd have 1000 subs within the 2 weeks I've been posting, but I feel like I thought it would be more than 28 LOL
@@BodyBoostRevolution FOR SURE I know that feeling lol. It’s frustrating at times. I find the videos I think no one will watch, people do. But the ones I love, they don’t lol. So that’s why I think it’s just better to keep that goal you have in mind going. You’re going to help people.. it’ll h just be one person at a time!🥰
@@BodyBoostRevolution I just saw your video on erythritol!!! So scary!!!! Subbed
@@findinghomeagain03 It IS frustrating, isn't it? I just saw a comment from a 2 week old channel with nearly 300 subs that they were failing. Hello, I have 27 LOL Come on, now. I'd be tickled pink with that many subs in only 2 weeks. That number feels harder to get to than climbing Everest right now haha!
You were looking at #views since published on the left and #views in the last 48 hours on the right that the numbers are different, 146 and 135. Impressions are how many times your thumbnail got shown to people versus how many people clicked on it. Impressions are like the dozen video thumbnails that get shown at the end of your video, or the bunch of video thumbnails that get shown on your UA-cam homepage or the video scroll list to the right of whatever you're currently watching. And yes, I agree, it's crazy to get too concerned about monetizing. When you start out, you're still learning the ropes and experimenting to find your own creation style and preferences. The audience that finds you will tell you if you're on to something that's going to grow huge someday, something you made that they really want to have a lot more of. I got serious about monetizing my channel when I was about 400 hours short of 4K, but I had about 10 hours worth of videos posted by then and about 600 subscribers. 400 people watching all 10 hours is 4,000 hours, but 4,000 people watching just 1 hour will do the same. Keep it in perspective and you'll get there.
Thank you for this!!!!!!! lol I still had not figured it out. I’m still feeling all over the place.
@@findinghomeagain03 Yeah, I was all over the place at first, too. It seems like there's so much to keep track of. But the best advice I got at first was make the video content, and make it the best you can. Sort of like stocking your department store shelves to offer a selection. The next best advice I ever got was match up the three T's: Topic, Title and Thumbnail. Using nail polish as an example, if the video is about nail polish, then make sure nail polish is used in the title and as a thumbnail illustration somehow. Goofing on the 3 T's was my first biggest mistake, and correcting that one shot my views way up. I'm still finding goofy mixed T videos and wondering why did I do that?
@@lotrfanhome That’s good advice!!!! I’m going to do that. I love the advice to dance like no one is watching.. cause they aren’t lol. Just make the best video you can and then improve one thing in the next one. My next one thing will be to improve the things you just gave me ❤️
@@findinghomeagain03 You go-go girl, lol! But don't lose heart. Give UA-cam 6 months to test your videos with different audiences. As long as you're getting impressions in the analytics, UA-cam is still putting your thumbnails in front of people. In the meantime, this is your virtual department store. You get to choose the product offerings, the layout and organization, the specialty lines, you've got this. If people stop by before your Grand Opening, that's okay. I'm illustrating a novel, so I wanted to finish the novel first before I was ready for my own Grand Opening, but people pounced on it anyway, lol.
@lotrfanhome I appreciate the encouragement. At least 6 months is not 6 years lol
I m subbing to join in on your journey. I did monetize my first channel of ambient walks, by grinding 8 months til burnout. In this second channel, I will just space things out a little. Thank you for this video-- I love it for its humanity and understanding. And I appreciate your sharing that being a small channel gives one freedom to explore.
Welcome aboard! Thanks the for sub and YES!!!! The channel is us, right? So we just keep being us. We’re good at that!!!!!
😊it's okay just smile it away and keep posting and you will get your watch hours
Eventually lol
You’re doing amazing! Looking forward to watching your channel grow!
Thanks so much. I’m trying 🥰
Lol… That is too cute! We all need motivation 🎉🎉🎉
I always get confused with views and real views lol but when I see my numbers showing 98% people watching but not subscribe it hurts and makes me wonder why I started in the 1st place
Oh my goodness I’m going to post a video today because i felt the SAME way!!!!! 😡😡😡 So frustrating!
I think once you become bigger those older videos count less. No deleting for me. ❤your personality.
Thanks!!!! I agree. Baby steps…I hear struggle with patience
Your stats are impressive 🎉triple digit subscribers. YOU GO GIRL 🎊 New sub
Thank you!!!!!! These are OLD subscribers mostly though lol. Still…I’ll take it!!!!!
Yes!! Love everything you said. As a small channel this is the time to build our skills as a creator. We will get there one video at a time 🎉
Absolutely!! With patience and time…hopefully forever time.. but time 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I LIKE how you present yourself! Natural and easy. I wish I could do that...
You can. Don’t sell yourself short.
You are the BEST you you can be!!!!! Your strengths are amazing. Don’t let nobody…not even yourself…tell you different!!!!
@@findinghomeagain03 Thanks
Patience...there is something good for everybody sooner or later
I’m trying…I really am
I do some similar things to get moving when I’m exhausted - and even kinda frustrated because the cleaning just never ends! I also trick my brain a little by watching channels or shows about cleaning in the background. I try to convince myself for a bit that I’m actually interested in cleaning. 😂 And if I’m in a good place, I try to remember to be grateful that I have this beautiful old house to clean and people/animals in it that I love to make it messy. 😊 Great video. All those angles must’ve taken amazing effort and patience. And your home is lovely. I want that extra fifth burner you have on your range! Take care!
Thank you for recognizing my pain 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I agree. One trick that works a lot is that I film myself cleaning abs pretend I have a large audience 🤣🤣🤣
Great way to look and think about things! I tend to also focus more on what smaller channels have to say as well. I am and have always been on this platform for the community aspect and it is easier to find amongst smaller channels. Keep up the great work!
Exactly!!! Something like misery likes…kidding…. But empathy helps and I think we have it
Looks yummy! Thks for sharing! 😋 🎉❤
Thanks for visiting. They are sooo good!
Hello there! How are you? New subscriber, great video, very relaxing and motivating!
Thanks sooooo much! I really appreciate you. Sorry I took so long. I was on a dopamine detox 😊
@@findinghomeagain03 You're very welcome love, no trouble at all!
Its exhausting and frustrating trying to grow my youtube channel. I feel like giving up because i just saw a channel with 6 videos on it and she has almost 5k subs! She started in April 2024. I'm like wth?!?! I bust my ass making like 30 nail videos and not even at 100 subs yet! I started in May 2024.
It CAN be super frustrating!!! Especially when you put so much work into shooting, lighting, editing, script making!!!!!! I mean look at me. Don’t even have 300 subscribers! But I’m doing my best to follow my own advice and just try and get better with each video. What’s your channel name? I’ll check it out
Don’t give up! It is frustrating but don’t compare yourself to them. It will only make you more upset. Just stay focused and continue to become better.
@@findinghomeagain03 sorry I just saw this... I'm at Nail Girl in Montana. Its nail related stuff like advice, art, product reviews etc.
@@Just_NickyT thank you. I will try not to get frustrated. I've given my channel a time frame now, and if it's not doing well, I'm gonna start another one in a different niche.
@@findinghomeagain03sorry, your comment slipped through the cracks. My channel name is Nail Girl in Montana.
I like the way you explain things, very friendly and open. If I don't look at your subscriber button, I will assume you would have hundreds of thousand subscribers. Subbed😊
I wish!!!!!! lol.. but hopefully I’m on my way🥰
Thank you by the way 🥰🥰
@@findinghomeagain03 I think if you keep sharing videos with the same enthusiastic spirit, soon you will reach your desired goal🙏. Within a year I believe.😁
You are so sweet! Thank you! 😊
Thank you!!!!!!
Great Advices 💜. I have also started recently and I am only watching small UA-camrs because I know most of them are honest ❤ Good luck on your journey and see you on top 💜
Thank you!!! I’ll check out your channel right now🥰
Thank you for the advice! Subbed!
Thanks for the sub! I just learned something new about monetizing so I’ll post it This week but for now…DONT delete your old videos!!!!!
I just posted a video with what I learned. Check it out when you have time so you don’t make the same mistake if you’re ever in this situation!
Good information!!!
Glad you liked it!!! Thanks so much for commenting!❤️
Good job I'm really proud of you! This video got me motivated to do my own tasks which I was procastinating on, Thank you!
You got this!
Do we use cold or hot water? Are those freezer ziplock bags?
The water is coolish (is that a word lol) and yep ziplock bags
