Even though I always liked Rikki with Zane, and Rikki made him a better person,I have to agree cus at the end of the series she did catch him n wills sister kissing so maybe Will would’ve been better for Rikki cus they did have a chemistry and shared a moment when they first met of them smiling at each other. Bella I feel like she only liked Will for his looks they didn’t really have anything in common besides swimming. He had a lot more in common with Rikki.

I love the transitional music and the laugh track really works well with Lewis's whininess, Rikki's quips, and the fights between Cleo and Kim. I love the original series and I think if they did a retro sitcom spin-off like this, it would be better than Mako Mermaids or the animated show.

In my opinion, Rikki and Will have a natural chemistry. The first time they met each other, they shared a beautiful smile with lots of gratitude. Unfortunately, the director has created Will as a potential partner for Bella. Bella only likes Will because she finds him attractive. They don’t share anything in common. They didn’t build any strong or deep connection at the very beginning. Actually, Bella just had a “love at first sight”. Indeed, she put so much effort to be nice and friendly with Will but he didn’t really care. He just talked to her because he was curious about Mako island. That’s all! Will fell for Bella juste because she is a mermaid. Nothing else.
