Very good question, Asha. Actually, it depends on the intention for joining the sacco. If you're joining to get loans more affordably, it might be a little disadvantageous at the beginning because you will need members to guarantee you. But over time, as you attend and participate in the sacco activities including AGMs, you end up creating new connections and friends within the sacco. However, if you're joining the sacco just to save and build liquid asset, you may be advantaged in that nearly no one is likely to look for you to guarantee their loans. So if a sacco is doing well, you may just make a move and join it despite the fact that you know no one there, another way, as is suggested in the video, you could mobilize your friends and join as a team. What do you think?
