Without being too critical, “Comeback” sure does have a lot of “queens”. Too many for my taste. I’m not a hater of them, being a black gay man myself. “Queens” just really have NOT ever been my type. I gravitate more towards those alpha, masculine males. A term that has been used is, “ homothugs”. However, they do work well in this series. I only comment this as an observation. No messy shade, if it came off that way. Still, a good series. Peace.

I, feeling a little dumb, finally got something together in my mind. Kelly Redmon is the creator of Redmon Production. I get it now. I have just started Season 2. Mr. Redmon, allow me to pay you a huge compliment. You have become the “Wesley Henderson” of Houston. I am quite sure that you know who he is. Your styles are a little different, but nonetheless, as satisfying. This gay web series has indeed, for me, put Houston on the map, in this area of entertainment. As with Wesley, I will make it a point to keep myself updated with whatever current projects you decide to release. Stay woke, my brother, you are keeping it real. Peace.

Redmon Production, I believe, can truly tell a good story with some interesting characters. The writing isn’t bad, the editing seems decent and the acting seems appropriate. Not much to complain here. I also appreciate that this story is told in Houston. So many web series, for me, seems to be in Atlanta. I, also, watch a lot of black gay porn, and much of it is shot in Atlanta too. Don’t get me wrong, Atlanta is my favorite city. However, good to see a story with a different location than Atlanta. I encourage ,Redmon Production and it’s creator, to keep doing what they do. You can only get better and better over time. I enjoy stories told through a black gay lens, as to say. I can truly relate to that. Kudos, Redmon Production, you are truly hitting the right spot! Peace.
