    As a pro mechanic, I don't charge customer if I didn't fix it. We mechanics do get stumped on many vehicles because auto manufacturers pump out so much garbage vehicles that one person can not possess all of the required knowledge to quickly fix their shitttt. Even Identifix isn't 100% on troubleshooting.

      Did you replace the with the new belt? Squeals means belt is loose or running out of its life. Try tighten up the belt to see if this goes away? Lastly I would pour some water straight on the belt and it’s quite this means it’s time to replace the belt.

    Thanks for sharing. 2015 Accord. Fluid was replaced by dealership at 50K miles and then again by me yesterday at 114K miles. Surprisingly, I got just slightly OVER 4 quarts out: probably 4.1 quarts! I only had 4 quarts of new fluid and poured all in. Loosened the check bolt from above on level ground but couldn't watch from above (not enough light) whether or not there was a momentary drip. By the time I got under the car, there was no drip, but just slight wetness from a very thin stream near the bolt. So, if anything came out, it was miniscule. I am now anxious whether I put too little in. What to do? Should I buy another quart and simply add 0.1 quart? Should I add more and go through the check bolt rechecking process again? My initial hunch was that the dealership put too much fluid at the 50K mile change, but this is clearly not the case as otherwise a bunch would have come out through the check bolt.

    • @kashfix9160
      @kashfix9160 14 днів тому

      Sorry for my delayed response, I know the anxious feeling when we handle this stuff at home, I would leave it alone in my experience honda takes 3.85 qts to 4.10 but it’s all depends on few things, is your car transmission fluid is fully cold, is it on perfect straight level etc Tranmission oil expands when it gets hot and foamy when there is less fluid then levels. To check transmission perfect level required little patience. Best practice and rule of thumb is refill the same amount of fluid what you collect from vehicle but in your case sounds like dealer put little bit extra. Hope this helps.

    Hi, my brother had bought a galant and replaced the manifold where only one sensor doesn’t connect, not sure if he got a aftermarket one from a different model with the same motor, sensor said ifs, won’t run without that sensor obviously but is there any way around that?
