Debussy is by far one of my favorite composers. I attended Hartt School of Music for classical piano and actually wrote a theoretical analysis of Debussy's Book of Preludes 1&2 for my Sr. Thesis. He was by far one of the most amazing and influential artists of his time and beyond!

Londra, Praga... Esecuzioni tutte memorabili, ciascuna delle quali è di per sé insuperabile. L'impeccabilita' tecnica non è un' esclusiva di ABM. Altri pianisti eseguono il "Gaspard" meravigliosamente bene. Però, la simultanea coerenza formale ed espressiva , il controllo del suono in ogni dettaglio della scrittura musicale, la padronanza della dinamica di ciascun singolo dito su ciascun singolo tasto al fine di rendere il pensiero celato dietro ogni singola frase musicale, l'audacia nell' affrontare senza esitazioni o trucchi la pagina scritta da Ravel: tutto ciò rimane fino ad oggi, nell'anno di grazia 2024, evidentemente ineguagliato. Non si è trattato di una serata di grazia. Non si è trattato di un certosino lavoro in sala di incisione, bensì di ripetute prestazioni a distanza di tempo, di fronte a pubblici diversi. Tutte ineguagliabili. È una cosa che farebbe gridare al miracolo, se non fosse che, invece, sappiamo bene che è il frutto di una mente, di una volontà, di una sensibilità.

This is quite cool. I can imagine some variations based in the concept. Different rhythms and chord arrangements
