This STILL didnt answer my question, can we choose what percentage of charge we want and will the volt automatically STOP charging and drawing current when it reaches that level? I have heard charging to 100% every charge may be harmful for EV batteries. Does the same hold true for these smaller capacity batteries in the Volt? But most importantly, since I am planning to get the level 2 charger installed at my home, do I have to “babysit” it and unplug to stop the charging when it reaches capacity, or can I rest at night knowing it “auto” shut off and simply disconnect when I awake?

If you want a car that is almost impossible to work on then a Lumina is the car for you. Mine is a '97 w/ side mounted v6. You can't even see the back 3 spark plugs, much less get to them. It has a "replace engine light" instead of an oil pressure gauge, and the battery which is buried beneath the windshield washer fluid tank, has side terminals. I've never seen so many bad designs in one car before.
