I have not tested it. I always press my shirts at 400° 60 seconds and never have any issues. I have a Teflon cover on both of my platens and figured that is the reason some of my items other than t shirts I had to use a higher temp for...I will test and let you know...I have to find my infrared thermometer

@SimplybeingR Oh ok. Maybe mine is just a one off lol. I don't really want to return it because it's a nice looking machine. Also mine didn't have the thread through on the bottom. Sorry I didn't mean to hijack your post thanks for responding.

@@SimplybeingR yes it does . But it's has the metal piece in the middle to support the platen so I can't thread it through all the way. I saw on one pic the support was from the back of the platen. That's probably the one that can thread all the way

​@lamarblakely5851 mine has a metal pice underneath as well, but I can still thread my shirts onto it without any issues because the meyal part doesn't cover it entirely...not sure if we have the same exact model.

I still use both, the ramboard is the most important because it keeps the shirt in place since my heat press is 16x24

The Teflon is on top of the ram board so that I can keep reusing it. If you only want to use the ramboard with butcher paper inside in case there is any blow out, that would work as well. The ink and paper I use do not cause blow out

@@SimplybeingR ok and last question which ink and paper do you use I just bought the Inkowl Sublimation But I’m wondering if there is a cheaper ink with great colors also And I bought the Tacky sticky paper If that’s what you use which tacky brand did you buy there’s like 7 different tacky sticky papers 🙄

@Desi1080ptv no problem, ask away. I use crafting besties sublimation ink and Sublimation paper...check out my recent video on my mom's birthday shirt...the colors are so vibrant and you don't need an ink profile. Join the group on Facebook, we give many free tutorials and ideas!!

With your link it’s like $123 for the 8mill And like $77 for the 5 mil is it a big difference it’s coo I can order the $123 I was just wondering incase the 5 mill would of been good enough

I do not use my cameo any more. There is a cord that comes with it to allow you to connect it via hardwire to your laptop. You have to do the print then cut on silhouette studio....I have not used silhouette in about 2 years. I now have a cricut maker 3.

What ink are you using? Does it look pink after you press it? I am asking because sublimation can be dull until pressed
