I like what you have shared on this in a previous video. What are the uses of a small field of sunflowers? Wanting to plant 2 acres just like you did but wondering how to market them.
Beautiful! How do you manage your weeds
U are a bit more than what I call amazing! It's a dream intention 2 grow an acre of Sunflowers 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
I was wondering about the results. What about gaps in seedings with these seeders?
Thanks! Researching how to plant sunflowers 🌻. Might do it. Total new to all this :-)
love your channel and all around goodness.
Dude you .. are authentic.
Very helpful and positive - and with a very calming voice. Looking forward to watching more videos on this channel. Thank you
Love your content ✨️
LMAO love it
How long did it take to plant that field ?
You worked your butt off doing that. I have the same push planter. Its great for the garden but I've done 1 acre of sunflower and 2 acre of corn. The crapper about the fields is all the dead weed/grass growth getting stuck and grabbed by the small planter. Next time you plant sun flowers try broadcasting but don't over seed it. I've had just as good plants, just don't over seed.
You checked to see if you have a hard pan? Was just watching the tiller bouncing up and down. One way to check is to dig up a sunflower plant. Check the tap root. If it is running off to the side. You have a hardpan.
my favorite tomato is Cherokee purple
Where are you? Did you end your channel? I hope you and your family are well. Happy New Year!
Hi Cody, I just dropped in to say hi and wish you and your family the very best this holiday season. It's been curious weather so far here on Vancouver Island - looks like we're going to get another pineapple express to keep us warm-ish and wet through the new year. The weather is great for my gardens and my worms, but not so great for skiers! Take care, ~ Sandra
❤
Brilliant 🥕🥕🥕
My man... No till. First few years is hard but after year 2 its 1000% better.
Did you do it with regular no till drill or not till planter?
Where can I get sunflower seeds for commercial farming
Lol…looks like it has a hit to it Cody!
Wait what!? Does this work for other seedlings too? I've got a planter full of seedlings starting to sprout from my old Chili plant. I've moved a few of them to other trays but have thrown away those where I may have ripped a root by accident.
Do you save seeds ? Or buy new every year??
save duh
Back for another visit. Missing you my friend…. Hope you and your family are all well and safe!
Hey Garry! Such a sweet and kind gesture my friend! It’s been an incredibly busy summer with the park expansions and so many of my gardening projects unfortunately suffered, many of which were a near total loss for one reason or another. I really do appreciate your kindness and concern, it really means a lot to me! I hope you and miss Betty have had a wonderful summer! Hope to be back to more videos when things calm down a bit!
Glad to hear you and your family well! Take care Brother Cody🧑🍳👷🧑🌾❤️
Hi Cody, excited to be following along with this pumpkin journey. Does this mean you do not irrigate your pumpkins other than rain? Does that mean you use rainwater in buckets to water? Do you use any irrigation on your sunflowers? Thank you! :)
Hello, thank you for the video😊 What about birds? Don't they pick up the seeds?
speaking from experience here, the black crows . Dig up seeds. Especially when 15 birds dug up most of the seeded field, it is a must to kill off the black Crows, use a bucket of black oil seeds mixed with glycol and fly crystal.
Wow, that is a lot of work, Cody! Looking forward to updates on that 😀
Great ideas Cody! Good to see you and hear about your plans! 😊👍
Hi! Great video!!! How do you determine the distance between the rows? Cheers!
Great work Cody. Such an interesting project. Maybe someday we can see some furry friends enjoying it!
Hi Cody…Check! Check! 1-2-3….lol….Rosie and Ruffles would enjoy your dog park! Good for you! 🐶🐶❤️
Oh wow! I want to see dogs romping in one of your dog parks, Cody. What beautiful terrain you set aside for them. Too bad the fix on your mower didn't work. Time to call it a day, for sure! ~ Sandra
Awesome project Cody !! Always something on the farm. Its great you're providing a place for them !! Cheers 🌱👍
Wow, you got so much garlic, and a box full of garlic scapes!! Unfortunately I waited too long to harvest my garlic scapes this year and was not able to use them, maybe next year will be better 😀
That's a lot of garlic you'll be harvesting. I've been tossing scapes in everything 😅
Very cool Cody. Who knew! Never would have of this. I look forward to seeing how they do.
Do they require watering? if so, how often?. Or you just live it as is and walla - whatever comes up you're happy
@@groundskeepercody6013 thank you!
I love the mix of close up and field view shots. Nice video, Cody! ~ Sandra
One of my favourite gardeners! Cody - good to see you my friend and this was pure joy to watch 😊❤👌
Hi Cody! I love this instrumental. One of my favourites! Cody, my TOMA Green Tomato plants are huge with lots of flowers but none turned into fruit yet?
Big Sky Alberta, nothing beats it !! Hey, how deep do you plant yours ? Good luck with the main harvest !! Cheers J&C 🌱🤞👍
@@groundskeepercody6013 thanks!!
As always, Cody, what a beautiful video. You Homestead is awe inspiring ❤🧄💚🧄❤️
Where do you buy your sunflower seeds from?
That planter comes with a cross bar that leaves a line for your next row. I never use it though it's not hard to follow your last row.
Very informative video brother, please stay connected 🙏
Good morning Cody, from Windermere, Florida zone is ❤ I love your voice over ❤ Amazing how many plants, 57, from one. It's mind-boggling. Take care ❤Peggy❤
Excellent potato cloning experiment. Keep it up! Sending my full support!
Awesomeness Cody !! Cool that the plan worked out so well and 57 is a big number!! Good luck with them Cheers 🌱🤞👍
Like #6 Cody! Great spud test!
Hey Cody, your voice over was clear and got all the information out there for others to follow. You're like Matt Damon in that movie where he's trapped on Mars! I think he created dozens of hills of potatoes from just one or two potatoes. If you haven't seen the movie, please check it out! ~ Sandra
Great job Cody! I’m really looking forward to seeing how you get on. How amazing that they already formed a tiny seed potato! 😊🌱
