Don't ever forget about the 2 x '8' pits the boys had to put in at either end(6'x2'x 4' deep) and the 80m of trench 600mm deep all the way. Then they have to install the cable marker poles so hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Tried at the bastard pole for a change, but all undersize blueys and lots of rock crabs. Went back to the favourite location and managed 19 crabs, half males and half females, plus one squid. Bit rocky early but then glassed out after 10am.

Have you already tested it in the rain?
Hi Endergico, yes I have tested it in the rain and it still lets water in. I use a tarp to cover it if there is any sign of rain. Not much comes in but it's annoying when the front and back pockets get a little damp. The zip handles are piss weak and I have broken a couple of them, but for the price and how often most people use a swag I wouldn't hesitate to get another one. Cheers Jack
No issues with cable getting pinched or squshed
Cables are kept out the way and have not been a problem. I leave both cables plugged in so when I have to plug in to power I just grab the cable and connect. The 12 volt cable is permanently plugged in to the lithium ion battery and no issues
Watching from Argentina. Had to have some beers as well while doing it like the tutorial
I’m going to get single one
Beautiful view and vlog!😮New subscriber now as a gesture of good friendship😊
Cheap repair because no lives matter. They used to replace them
Thanks Mate, a great help.
Clever beanies.
Hi jack, great video. What size battery do you run your winch pot hauler with. Thanks
Hi Buba, I have 2 batteries in the boat which are Century Marine Pro 780's(used to always use 680's and never had a problem but when replacing I had the room so opted for the bigger size as bigger is always better). I always have the motor running when using the pot winch or the anchor winch. The Mercury 150 EFI has a 40 amp alternator which has no problem powering the Maxwell Anchormax pot winch to pull up pots full of lobsters from as much as 80 feet deep. Cheers Jack
Mate, close the fridge, you're as bad as my kids lol you should try the lobster apparently we have one of the best tasting lobster in the world here in South Australia.
😂 haha nice work.. Well seasoned..!
Great info on crabbing. Great video.
Like my fish, He got bigger every time you told the story.
Come to SA,you will see a proper beach launch.

Lovely content Jack, nice to see Mrs Jack on the playground!
Another great video Jack hope to see you down the se soon. We are going to sell the shack at cape jaffa. We bought a 4 bay shed and block at Kingston. Heaps of room you are welcome any time 🍻
Super deal for the price.
Like your videos of rivvies mate I played in the 91 season but was told wasn’t going to be picked for finals fair to say I was gutted, 87 a8 played that year remember the final just can’t remember if played.
Bloody legend! That's the funniest video I've seen for a while. When you said, "Let's have a beer", I went and got one. I didn't manage to drink 6, but cracked up in seeing all those cans in the back of your ute. Great stuff and cheers for the tips. I'll be removing mine in the morning ready for a canopy. All the best.
Hi Wayne, thanks for your kind words. Just remember to always keep the fluids up and stay hydrated. Don't know how the video went into slow motion(I'm no Steven Spielberg) but the audio kept going so I left it all in. Cheers Jack
Thanks for the hot tip Jack the ramp looks great. Loving these work videos
Cheers Harv's
wot's ya mission with those steel poles... checking for rust, or making sure peeing dogs are safe from electrocution?
Hi Ann, We check for rust or other maintenance issues. Of the thousands of steel poles I have checked over time there has only been a few that have needed replacing. There was one ''H'' iron pole that was completely rusted through the middle at the base and a tree was pushing the pole over. Not very safe with power on the pole and the pole having a slant angle of 15 degrees bending from the base. The oldest steel pole that I have inspected was stamped 1905, but it was an old railway line pole so I don't think it was erected in 1905 as they used anything they could get their hands on in the early days. As for the dogs it's more about not stepping in dog shit around the pole. Cheers Jack
@@southaussiejack558 Thanks Jack! Bloddy dogs... fancy crapping where you pee! I wonder if etsa's ancestor used to nick old railway track they found lying around. It does sometimes turn up in strange places. Do stobies get an automatic clean bill of health, because of the concrete content... or is that a different assurance setup done by someone else??
I have trouble with stones flicking up into the frame and they end up getting under my doors. Have you got this problem. I think that I saw in your video something to prevent that. Would you be able to do a video on how you prevented that. Cheers Len
Hi mate, mine has stainless caps along the frame. I bought it like that so I can't really tell you how it was done.
Nice very nice. I have a MK1 and yes the roof leaks 😅
Definitely not backpack friendly
Take out the mattress and replace it with more compact hiking mattress and should me better
If a C3 corvette and a Ferrari had a child…. 😂
Very helpful. Thanks
It's a shame we don't build beautiful structures like this anymore.
Should be awesome when fully completed in 2028.
Bloody nice wonder what this car be worth??
35,000 in ten days of work ?! What do you do ?! Seriously. I'm looking for something to do that's worth my while. No worries, mate, I live in North America, and won't be stealing your gig ! LOL ! Might "borrow" your nice, new, shiny machine, though ! LOL ! ; )
I picked mine up on Monday i chose the sharkskin blue and i can’t wait for my exhaust to come in i have already changed the mirrors and fitted a swing arm bag and I’ve got a set of front indicator l.e.d’s to fit , i might do the shift bar to finish it off . Glad you like your bike and i wish you many safe miles of enjoyment .
Hi Mick, I'm sure you will love the bike, nice color and cool mods. I was thinking of pull back handlebar extensions for it but I do like the arm chair ride at the moment. The swing arm bag is a great idea because there is no storage on the bike for anything. I was thinking of a handlebar bag for basic items. Stay safe and use your cruise control. Watch out for people who want to take your photo as they charge big money for the privilege.
Well at least now I know where all the deforestation support is coming from. 😑 Great job destroying the only thing keeping water in the ground in Australia: the forests.
Why would you spend a few hundred thousand taxpayer dollars to build a lookout, car and bus parking for everyone to come and enjoy the beautiful views and then plant large trees to block it all out. Sort of defeats the purpose don't you think. I love the trees, forests and nature and you've jumped on some bandwagon about deforestation support and destroying the only thing keeping water in the ground. Why don't you and the other idiots plant lower growing shrubs around the lookout and this would serve both purposes.
So what were those bars?
Crows legend
Certainly could have achieved a lot more for the crows had the Bays coach allowed him
Hi there! So your head circumference is between 60~61cm, and you got a 3XL sized helmet.... Wow!!! Based on the LS2 sizing guide, the best fit for you should be an XL. My head is 58.4, and was thinking about getting the L size. Do you think the LS2 Storm is true size fit? Now, I am confused, should I get XL instead of L sized one? Thank you for reading this comment and questions :)
Hi mrjuvenalify, that's why you should not buy off the internet without going into a store and trying them on. I certainly don't think the LS2 Storm is a true fit but then none of them are with any brand. I have found that most things like my leather jacket, I would normally take a 2XL and ended up getting a 5XL from Rhinoleather. Motor bike pants were way different as well. So save yourself the hassle of having to return items and try them on in a store first. Trust me you do not want to get a helmet that is too tight a fit as it will end up giving you a head ache. cheers from South Aussie Jack
@@southaussiejack558that make so much sense. Thank you again for your insights and review :)
Nothing
hi tyzon00800, you must own a colarado
Rollers on trailer. Thats the key here.
Mate coming from Melbourne first time What’s best depth to drop And if ya feelin generous A general area. Lol
Sorry for the late reply, we've caught crays from 20-80 ft. Anywhere north of the lighthouse but stay out of the marine park and stay 200m away from other pots. Look for cray weed in crevices. It's all luck from then on. All the best
You say you got a 3XL. What size was your above eyebrow/round head measurement so I can gauge if they’re a true size fit. Would be really good to know. 👍
Hi Duncan, my eyebrow / round head measurement is 60 cm. I like my helmets to be a bit bigger otherwise I find they press hard against my forehead and cheeks and I am forever pushing the helmet up to relieve the pressure. I have found this helmet to be one of the most comfortable lids I have had.
there is any shop?
hi endtime prophecy, i'm not sure what you mean by your question?(there is any shop?)
Thank you for review :) Is the helmet long oval or intermediate oval shape?
hi la linea bellissima, it does not say anything on the box about long oval or intermediate oval shape, i just tried all the different helmets and this one fit the best for me. i was in the store for over 3 hours as they said wear the different helmets for 10 minutes or more to properly make up your mind. the helmets here in adelaide had a price range from $130au to $1600au for the top spec helmets with bluetooth. mine cost approx $300 from memory and was at the low end. it has a PO number : LS22202-1/2AU and model number : LS2 FF800 STORM SOLID. i originally wanted a lift up helmet like my old one but none fit comfortably and this one was the best by far for me. i love the pinlock visor which stops the fogging in the helmet when you stop at traffic lights. would highly recommend and i will buy again. cheers from South Aussie Jack
I appreciate the recipe‼ My favorite part is the gathering.
Thanks for your kind words lynettep7015. My favourite part which unfortunately I didn't get on video was 2 hours later after lunch the nieces and nephews came out with plates loaded and finished off all the perogies.
They are excellent, had mine last 6 months.good review mate.
I have a 2009. They're the 96 ci engines. They ran 2008-2011. Been keeping mine all stock w 5k+ miles on it. Just bought the original flip out seat set up for it ($1300!!!). Lights are all led now. Primo condition black w/ grey powder coating, Gray and red ghost flames. A truly beautiful bike
Great video, mate. Will say, I had to skip through you drinking though. Other than that, it was great.
Nice bike😂😂
I have the same bike, and it is a Gem! Love it.
