Ty for the video I hope this will clear out the cooler error I keep getting when I try to hit Start in lightburn!
Love the magnet idea of hold down, are the magnets home made or where they purchased ??? love to get some or make some
@@Telboy1408 Amazon. Like everything else. :)
Where did you get the black nozzle head and its laser tube, please?
I have been looking for this! Can you please tell us about the wiring?
Your on crank lab to

Well done! How did you do it? Can you please provide details?
what's that gray cloth you covered on the print?
Silicone mat.
how can i remove the burnt box
Fix your settings if your burning stuff
Isn’t leatherette a no go in laser for pvc?
Some of it. Just buy from a trustworthy source like JDS or Lonestar.
@@halsteadlaser hehe guessing Temu isn’t one of them… :)
@@Actio83 yeah idk. I don't order much from temu. I'm typically not willing to wait and see what the quality is like so I just order from my preferred vendors.
Es muy bueno!!!!!
Promo_SM 😅
IT HELP! THANKS !
how do you square your honeycomb bed so what ever your engraving comes out straight?
Did you purchase directly from Haotian Laser? Alibaba? Somewhere else?
Direct from Pascal.
@@halsteadlaserI sent an email to their admin@ alias. Hopefully that's Pascal. I couldn't find a specific email for them. Thanks! Hoping I can pick one of these up. Still happy with your purchase?
Can this engrave tumblers? Sorry to ask, but what’s the price range of it?
Yes it comes with a rotary for tumblers.
Thank you for the reply. Were the water chiller and the exhaust fan provided along the machine by the company, or you purchased them separately by your own? Just wondering as most Chinese companies provide different ones!
When house techno meets a drunk banjo player.
😂 😂 😂
You don’t want to know but wondering if you could hear which letter is being made and could make it speak
Actually that would be a pretty cool experiment
Trash audio
7 out of 10 could be better
Wonder what it smells like.
Not good haha
CHIEFSSSSSS
9ers
9ers
Both
😂
9ers
Chiefs
Chiefs of course Brock purdy's going to be taken down He's nowhere even close to Lamar Jackson scrambling talent He's done our defense is brutal and it's going to come in and sack his ass several times yep we're going to win it again sorry to say been a chief fan for over 50 years I said it about Lamar Jackson and I was right he was going to break all the hearts of all the fans in Baltimore and he did and he did it to the bills I had a feeling I have a feeling about the 49ers again we're going to beat them too just like in super bowl 54 be ready it's time to break the hearts of the 49ers too third time's a charm😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fax
blud wrote a whole paragraph 😂 (i’m jk i agree tho)
can that be done with a co2 laser as well?
Nope.
This is a very helpful video. Thank you.
Thanks!
Nice, I've been looking at this machine and it looks pretty solid. How do you like it so far? Only thing I noticed it's considerably shorter than our Epilog laser. Do you have it on a table?
So far, I love it. For what we do and need it for, its great. Yes, It's small so I have it on a table.
Now to just show us how you wired it all in
I can message you some info on FB.
Where did you get that honeycomb bed because that’s a lot bigger than mine. Mine fits in the slots. Where the knife go.
Thats the bed that came with mine.
i just made adjustment bolts on top, simple adjustmens
That would work too.
Complete LB noob here, how do I, or can I set LB to measure in inches rather than mm? Thanks.
I got you! Up top to the left of the font options you'll see a little box that probably says mm. Click it and it will change to in.
Can you just position your laser like that and start? Newbie here thought absolute had to be in a corner or the center tia😊
Awesome video! Side question what material did you use to make the American flag magnet in the back?
This is one of the better videos on using these techniques to center an object. One thing that might work to ensure that your template is moved to the same spot every time might be to use lower power output Ie let’s say you cut the card board out. Finished your job you saved the card board and latter you want to replicate the job. Place the cars board back on the honeycomb use your saved cutout path turn the laser power down as low as you can get it, set up 3 passes you will then move the cardboard into position using the lower power output. 😁🛫
How much did you pay for the machine plus upgrades? What parts have you replaced for routine maintenance?
Just saved my ass. 😂 great to the point video!
WHERE do you find the FRAME comand in Lightburn?
you can use camara its better other level
Yes, you can use a camera, if you have one.
May i ask what settings you used? I want to start making my own cards
I'd also like to know.
My god! This is genius! Thanks for sharing man! 👍👍👍👍
Putting the square onto a tool layer (T1/T2) and then right click on it to lock it is helpful...
Could you explain that further? I've seen that on Lightburn but I don't exactly know how it works and how it helps.
Liteburn has snaps enabled by default!
Ok, I have a plastic square (one that fits into a LED disc) and I am not able to get it to center, or engrave the plastic correctly. I watched your video and still cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. Any help?
What is your origin set to? Use Absolute Coords
@@halsteadlaser I use the green square and the pointer to find the center and then move the object around in the screen till I find the center
what temp and time do you use?
Great idea. I'm doing a bunch of coasters and I'm gonna try it. I'm thinking maybe cut like 6 holes to make several at a time.
Yes sir. If I have a large order I do as many as my bed will allow at one time.
Wondering about air compressor upgrade, has the air compressor plug into machine or still in the wall power socket? Great video you have taught me something.. Hopefully laser will be here next week. Keep up the great video's 👍
Compressor is plugged in to the wall on a separate circuit from my lasers and chiller.
Thank you very much. I am very new and I am learning something everyday. This was a good video on centering. Take care and be safe in all travels and all activities.
Where did you get your laser mount and bracket from? Thx for the video.
Ummm good question. I guy on the OMT Facebook group. Sorry I don't remember his name.
@@halsteadlaser Just asked in the OMT Facebook group. Hopefully, I get a response. I've got the 80W from them.
