Hunt is an amazing game and it definitely giveth and taketh away! Haha. I love your idea for compound specific videos, it’s actually something I’ve thought about! A compound breakdown series. You show great composure and discipline and I am not talking only about the game, so thank you for educating the rest of us on how to preserve our cool in the face of adversity, for which hunt is an extreme (and great) simulation of. As for the compounds, the most challenging lairs are the underground ones, where the sound is hard to pinpoint, no wallbang option, few sources of lighting (low visibility). Pitching Crematorium, Healing Water Church, The Chapel of Madonna Noire comes to mind, maybe I got them wrong, but as a solo, underground bases I find most difficult to assault/defend. My graphics settings are all set to as low as possible so I can get the most amount of frames. Low settings were also the best for spotting players since the release of the game but I think that changed with the engine update. So I would use whatever gives you the best performance!

Totally agree. I’ve had probably 40-50% fog for the last month or so. Fog and night maps slow the game to a crawl. I honestly usually extract for either of those times of day because it always plays out the same. People just crouch around and do nothing

Great points! I use the peeker's advantage in my next solo guide to secure a win so you'll have to look for that cause you're totally right about getting the peek and holding the angle! Haha that is a perfect loadout for 6 star! lol. Yes Crytek does have a habit of nerfing high pick rate weapons and I'm fully expecting them to nerf the Krag after the event but, for now, I'm loving it! The slow gameplay of events is one of my big complaints about them. No one plays objective and usually half the teams in a match are sneaking around just farming points. I do like the events a lot but definitely looking forward to getting back to some normal games!

You can but only if you are playing solo and you have Lightfoot, otherwise you will make sound. Silent walking is a solo modifier for Lightfoot but doesn't work in teams.

Yeah it's gotten so bad. It really hinders the game. I was thinking maybe a mechanic where the longer you sit the more of a "heat register" your body creates and maybe there is a trait where if you dark sight you can see traces of the other player's heat map more intensely depending on how long you've been standing still or crouching. Maybe you could even singe their feet or something. Any ideas on your end?

@Ehmri yes. Been thinking same and I'm and a 2 star mainly solo so I need to be slow and stealthy but still want to play not camp

Dude yes. Join the Shadow Crush gang. It is absolutely elite. And you can 2 shot meatheads if you have a partner you play with for quick and silent free traits

@@Ian-lm5ep For sure! It works super well on dogs. Just keep moving while you use it and you'll have a pack down in no time. And yes on Immolators as well, just be careful cause they will run at you and if they explode near you from using Shadow Crush you will get burned and potentially lose a bar of health!

@@Ehmri honestly just more of what you doing already :D i dont really expect more for money i actually wanna support for the content you already do but maybe somehting like watching and reviewing viewer submited gameplay, drives viewer engagement and its actually fun and informative to watch i believe wich would also tie good into the Soul Survivor thing because i feel like there would be some people submitting Soul Survivor rounds or clutch moments aswell.

Yeah I'm not sure what's going on there tbh. I have my OBS settings at the highest they can be, and I render at 50 mbps which is higher than needed for 1440p footage. I need to have someone take a look at my OBS and see if there's anything off but I've spent a lot of time on it and still having issues unfortunately. :/

It’s difficult to internalize much of this stuff if any at all, for people who are doing good to get in any more than three or four matches in a typical week.

These lessons videos are good for other players getting in 10-20 or more hours of Hunt, a week. Otherwise, it’s real tough to build any consistency improving one’s play in multiplayer games. Just a general complaint. Not necessarily a direct response to any particular thing you said or did.

Dang man thanks for sharing! This was a fun read. I’ve had similar evolutions with my loadout picks as well. Centennial Trauma (or any gun with a melee attachment) is a great choice, especially now with how hard it is to find a weapon to do damage to bosses. I’ve totally had the e same issue with the knuckle knife and Immolators haha. But I still love it. It’s my Hunt guilty pleasure. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience man! Much appreciated

Highly recommend the penny dinger - I suppose you use the decoy fuses as a different kind of (a more metaphorical) door opener ;) oh, and about the melee tool nerf against bosses: Weapons, including the Brawler pistol variants, aren't affected by it! And it's crazy seeing a swung ammo box doing more damage to a boss than a melee tool xD

Haha so true! I use decoy fuses to open doors/windows all the time. I’m like “nah you don’t get the safety of that door.” *throws decoy fuse That is crazy hahaha. Melee weapons are so weak now. Pretty lame. I miss the days when knuckle knife would obliterate Scrapbeak. Literally the best melee in the game against him forever. RIP

Hmm I just watched it back and didn’t catch it. Which clip was it? It’s possible that I started sprinting and then stopped really quickly. I’m not sure. I know there was a bug for a little while that would give you a sprinting animation and you would walk a little faster while not sprinting so it could have been that! @Ehmri ohh gotcha do you can't do that anymore? Feel like I see streamers walk and crouch but have their gun down like the sprint animation but maybe it's just that

I totally get the struggle man. It takes a loooong time in this game. I would highly encourage you to go into the shooting range and take a few different options with you (medium/long/etc.) and shoot a bunch of the targets at various distances. It really is just a thing of having to get the reps in. It will click, no doubt about it, but the more rounds you can get fired the better. Appreciate the comment and the support my friend!

Totally! The knuckle knife is just my default melee tool so I had it in there but you can definitely swap that around. Honestly I would probably still bring my knuckle knife cause it's a crutch for me and I hate dealing with Immolators without it hahaha. But chokes or traps or something like that would be a great replacement.
