England's Elections to be Cancelled? #news #labour #politics
Things are going according to plan
I dont blame them, Labour has become a disgrace under starmer
I'm not surprised that Jess Phillips is such a hypocrite. It's very typical for a misandrist bigot like her. Years before the pandemic, I've seen a video of her laughing at the high rate of men ending themselves. She said that she thought that the rate needed to be higher. For those who don't remember, she's the one who openly threatened to sta* Jeremy Corbyn in his face during a filmed session of Parliament back when he was Labour leader, and most the disgusting factor of that incident, she received no punishment for that threat whatsoever.
Better to get Drones on the job you know the one i mean
Quick order your taxis , takeaways and don't forget your visit to the barber shop .
That's so crazy, but unfortunately, it's not unexpected when it comes to these clowns.
Not going well for Jess Phillips? It's self inflicted Steve! Probably under orders, they are all wrong 'uns.
Very true.
So will that stop migrants more money wasted take back to francs and protect our borders
More labour lies and still the disabled are being attacked for benefits
They will take from whites and blame them for everything they do
In my opinion we still need to make our voices heard! So lets be positive!!
And what everyone is missing is we had something very similar in February. Goverment responce ,Government responded This response was given on 27 February 2024 The Government has implemented the most significant measures in a generation to reduce legal migration and end illegal migration; however, suspending immigration entirely would harm the UK’s economy. Read the response in full Suspending immigration to the UK is impractical and would be harmful to our economy. Migrant workers are important for filling skills gaps in our workforce, sustaining our vital public services, including in the NHS and social care, while overseas students are valuable in maintaining our world-class reputation for education. Whilst we do not support a suspension on all immigration, the Home Secretary has made clear that migration to this country is too high and needs to come down. On 4 December 2023, a package of key measures was announced to curb immigration abuse and further reduce net migration, including: 1. Stopping overseas care workers from bringing family dependants and requiring social care firms in England to be undertaking Care Quality Commission registered activities to sponsor visas, effective from 11 March. Last year, 120,000 dependants came via this route. 2. Increasing the earnings threshold for those arriving on the Skilled Worker route, with the minimum threshold rising by nearly 50% from £26,200 to £38,700. Commencing on 4 April 2024, these changes will ensure our immigration system is focused on attracting skilled, highly paid talent from around the world. 3. Reforming the Shortage Occupation List into an Immigration Salary List. The Government will end the 20% going rate salary discount for shortage occupations and has asked the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to review the composition of the list in line with the increased salary thresholds. 4. Raising the minimum income for Family visas to £38,700 in line with the minimum salary threshold for the Skilled Worker route, to ensure people only bring dependants to the UK they can support financially and will apply to all British and settled sponsors under the five-year partner route. We will raise the minimum income for Family visas incrementally in stages, to give predictability to families, starting at £29,000 from 11 April and rising to £38,700 by early 2025. 5. Asking the MAC to review the Graduate route to prevent abuse, protect the integrity and quality of UK higher education and ensure it works in the best interests of the UK. In arriving at this package, we have been mindful of the need to balance the impacts on economic growth and the needs of the labour market. This new package, together with previous measures announced in May 2023 to tackle the substantial rise in the number of overseas students bringing dependants to the UK, means around 300,000 people who were eligible to come to the UK last year would not be able to do so in future. Immigration policy must be fair, consistent, legal, and sustainable. That is why we are also taking the fight to illegal migration. Our plan to stop the boats is working. Small boat arrivals are down by a third, despite illegal migration across the rest of Europe being on the rise. Challenges remain, but 2023 was the first year since the Channel crossings phenomenon began that numbers of people crossing did not rise dramatically compared to the previous year. Critical to our response to these challenges is the Illegal Migration Act which achieved Royal Assent on 20 July 2023 and the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill currently in Parliament. The Home Secretary, on behalf of the Government, signed a new internationally binding treaty between the UK and Rwanda on 5 December 2023. This treaty, alongside the evidence of changes in Rwanda since summer 2022, will enable Parliament to conclude that the Republic of Rwanda is safe, and the Bill provides Parliament with the opportunity to do so. This will enable the removal of individuals who arrive in the UK under the Immigration Acts to Rwanda. The Bill makes clear the exceptionally narrow grounds through which people can challenge their removal to Rwanda. Under our legislation, an individual will no longer be able to frustrate their removal. The Bill will prevent domestic courts and tribunals from granting interim remedies on matters relating to the general safety of Rwanda. Interim relief can only be granted where the court or tribunal is satisfied that the person would face a real, imminent, and foreseeable risk of serious and irreversible harm if removed. This is a long-term policy which we have committed to fund. Both the UK and Rwandan governments are committed to operationalising this partnership. A fact sheet is available here: www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-safety-of-rwanda-asylum-and-immigration-bill-factsheets/safety-of-rwanda-asylum-and-immigration-bill-factsheet-accessible We continue to work hard with our European partners to tackle the challenges of irregular migration, including seeking to negotiate returns agreements bilaterally and at the EU-level, having already secured returns agreements with countries including Albania, Georgia, Nigeria, Pakistan, India, and Serbia. We keep all our immigration policies under constant review to ensure they best serve the UK and reflect the public’s priorities. Home Office Date closed30 May 2024 Get petition data
They never had a way except the subjugation of the british, non muslim population
It’s not LEGAL immigration that needs to be stopped it’s the illegals ditching their passports and getting into the country illegally!
He'll go to davos for his 'ideas'
It’s not up to our government
I don't think you could be more wrong. We've had 14 years of negligible growth...indeed, going backwards given the record level of borrowing under the the Tories. In the meantime we've seen a public sector collapse, striking doctors, broke Councils (even Tory ones) and the sheer stupidity of Brexit (so far cost the UK in excess of £100 billion). Any Chancellor of any party would need to raise money..and this can only be done through either more borrowing or taxing businesses and/or individuals. They can, of course, cut back on expenditure. What we've seen since the 50s is a massive growth in the Welfare State |(£100 billion a year for pensions and now £350 billion for social security provisions). What happed when Reeves sensibly stops giving taxpayers money to pensioner who don't need it but targets it on those who do...a public outcry. Same with farmers..why on earth should asset rich farmers get away with not paying inheritance tax the rest of us pay (although we pay 40% on over £325,000, not 20% on over £1m and given 10 years to pay). Too many (thick) people are being taken in by richly funded right wing propaganda. Labour has been in office just 6 months during which the economy has been primarily affected by overseas factors..it's going to take years to turn it around but at least Reeves has made a sensible start.
Yep, 1. farmers (that's aren't actually farmers, just the rich investing in land to avoid inheritance tax, few farmers actually will be affected). 2. btl landlords whom have had properties paid for them, got the equity off the back of those less fortunate, and had been expecting and making a monthly profit on top of being bought a home, are now crying they can't turn anymore profit (that the growing equity and home at the end of the mortgage), have to maintain it well and can't just kick people out when they've decided they want to cash in or not fix up and 3. Every pensioner cashing in on money, they don't need, just because they are older. It should have always been means tested. Sure, a few will suffer on the cusp of these things, but I think they are the correct moves. Now, to improve government spending and get our public services up to par

The government will respond in its usual fashion... Ageing population. Diversity is strength. Indigenous population work shy. Immigration promotes financial growth... yada yada yada insert generic sound bytes here...
This is all deliberate and we need an election
In other words they haven't a clue what they are doing even though the said they had a plan. Well if the plan was to bankrupt the country they are definitely on the right track
They had 14 years to make a plan
Labour won't do anything to stop the boats. They are, after all, following orders to keep them coming, and they don't/won't want to upset that apple cart!!
Hi steve is it true that new claimants for pip will be getting vouchers?
There has been no news of that. They haven't decided anything at the moment.
No don’t think it will stop them, and do what if they track the small boat are they going to g to stop them and turn the boats around back to france waste if 15 million a year
They won’t be doing this
Stop the boats Close the Borders Leave ECHR Deport the Illegals Repair the economy!!! Two Tier Kier Starmer must GO and the Lie-Bore Clown show. Vote REFORM - local elections and national elections - get out and ask how you can help them and their representatives..... its too late for much of the UK but we can try to stop the Fifth Column Lie-Bore despots and Tory clowns.
The government won't do this because they and their masters in Davos want to keep the borders wide open to suit _their_ goal of breaking down national identity, the very thing we want to protect. They want to transform countries as they have been traditionally understood as the territories of particular peoples with a unique people, history and culture into a mere economic zone. Starmer is the economic zone manager for the British Euroregion. Some might consider he's not doing a very good job of it even in those terms. He will take no notice of the petition because from his perspective people who want to hang on to their identity and culture are just uneducated plebs while he is forging ahead transforming Britain into something new under the global governance umbrella.
Deutschland is Deutschland ous lander ous ! Us Brit’s should take a leaf out of the Germans book, UK is OK no Illegals !...
The 'government' won't stop it. It's part of the UN's replacement migration programme. The 'government' do not have the power to stop illegal immigration. Blair relinquished our sovereignty in 1997. They are under orders from the UN's globalist cabal (soon to be declared as a world 'government'. 'Convid' was the precursor. They couldn't give a shit what us peasants say!
We need something to compare things with, there have been so many immigrants for so long we have no idea what it is like without them. 5 yrs. at least.
It's to last the government has run out of ideas and it's time to hand over to someone else who can do a better job and what the people want
They wont stop anything. The UK public voted for less migration in 2010 and subsequent General Elections. Forget each government blaming each other - its being done deliberately, and Labour and the Tories are both complicit.
The last group you would go to are these corrupt incompetent regulators , theyre all activists 14 years to prepare and they run out of ideas , thats because they didnt have any ideas in the first place The WEF inserted them to destroy the country
Make Deportations GREAT AGAIN!!!
The country should be scared of the rise of the far right
They are a pressure group pushing politics further to the right
6 million people signed the petition to stop article 50 being triggered, but it still went ahead and trash the economy. Business is crying out for overseas workers to grow the economy and pay tax overseas students bring in 46,billion to the economy.
OK traitor.
The economy hasn’t grown for 14 years partly because of Brexit and 14 years of austerity
if he hoes who will be pm
Hi steve even it’s not going to work l
I would love to see the back of Rachel Reeves though if there is a cabinet reshuffle, we could end up with someone like Ed Milliband, David Lammy or Angela Rayner as Chancellor. It doesn't seem that Free Gear Kier has much faith in Rachel from Accounts as he's written to various regulatory bodies asking for ideas on how to get the economy growing I assume because Reeves doesn't have a clue.
Yeah, the alternatives don't seem much better.
Not just small or large businesses Steve, even charities are affected, if they go it will affect many more needy people, seeing as charities do what the government should be doing!
Yes, absolutely
@@DailyChatWithSteve And this attitude is half the problem...and I speak as a charity trustee. Over the last 50 years we have seen an unaffordable growth in the Welfare State (£450 billion a year now on pensions and social security...far outstripping any other expenditure). We've ended with entitlement...even OAPs I know who do not need the fuel allowance (winter in Spain) moaning about it being stopped, People need to take more responsibility for themselves and their families...with the Welfare Sate and charities being there for those who fall through the net. I
They are the only opposition
They’ve no intention of closing the borders
They know exactly what they’re doing. All planned
Well the tories are not taking them to task are they? They are concentrating on trying to bring Reform down. Laughable. All liars sticking together.
