Haven't had a chance to ride a Tenere 700 yet, but from what I've read about the suspension alone, I'd get a Tenere 700. I'm not sure if I'd like the parallel twin engine though, I still really enjoy the feeling of the big single cylinder.

That's a 2006 model, which doesn't yet have an oxygen sensor.

Mine does that too, especially with offroad tires. I usually try to not ride faster than 110 km/h on road. At speeds like that it also starts to get a bit windy with the tiny windshield.

Hi Dima, the crashbars I've got on my XT660R are made by Hepco-Becker. I never had any problems with the break pedal getting bent after a crash, the crashbars don't directly protect the break pedal, but I don't think it is really necessary. Cheers! :)

@@richrides2308 I'm 197 and when I ride standing I can't grip the bike with my legs. Did it happen to you?

​@@pietfpv Yes. Being tall makes it challenging to ride standing up because pretty much all bikes are built for regular sized riders. My knees usually are where the seat ends on most dirtbikes, so it's hard to grip the bike with enough force. I always try to compensate for it by adjusting my center of mass according to the terrain. Otherways it's really exhausting for the arms if I always have to hold on tight.

@@migueltapadas2432 Semi easy yes. After that it needs me laying flat on the tank to power through to 185 (downhill a bit more)> But it accelerates until 180 with ease, no real struggle noticeable.

Thanks a lot! It really depends on how much onroad and offroad riding you want to do. If you plan on touring and only easy offroading I'd go with the big bike. For lots of technical trailriding and only a little bit of onroad I'd go with a light bike like the CRF250L. Obviously you could still ride gnarly stuff on the heavy bike or travel on a lightweight 250cc dirtbike, because it mainly depends on the rider. I hope this does help. Cheers!

Grüß dich Stefan! Was Protektor-Upgrades angeht, so habe ich mir aus Alublech einen leichten Getriebeschutz gebaut, den ich zwischen die beiden Rahmenrohre geschraubt habe. Auch habe ich den Werks-Kennzeichenhalter deutlich verkürzt. Bei der Übersetzung habe ich das originale 43er Kettenrad durch ein 51er ersetzt, damit wird die WR im langsamen und technischen Gelände deutlich agiler. Die Endgeschwindigkeit ändert sich kaum, dafür dreht der Motor etwas freier hoch. Ansonsten habe ich leistungsmäßig nichts verändert. Außerdem kann ich die Michelin AC10 als gerade noch legale Offroadreifen empfehlen, die sind im Gelände ein Traum! LG
