Yh we really hope the staff can find other work at other parks or attractions so it doesn't effect them to much, but defiantly not nice for them! We are hearing of plenty of people who are giving up there merlin passes this year as they don't see the value in them, which we can understand why.

@@Wickerlad_2002 it sucks, will probably never know the full reasons for these cuts but like you say maybe will see big and better things coming to all the parks in the future 🤞

@AdventureTimesUK - As much as it's dissappointing for us, i do feel for all the staff and entertainments teams that are seeing their jobs effected due to these Merlin cut backs so we can't complain too much.

@ No we can't, we do feel bad for the people that are out of a job, you would think Merlin could of made cuts in different areas of the business rather than the entrainment teams!

It really was, best family show in a uk theme park! We’ve no idea other than it’s cost cutting either for the amount of money they paid in new rides last year or more than likely it’s to do with the hike in national insurance for businesses!

Yh we totally agree it’s a real shame it’s gone especially as they only just made improvements last year on the area. The future definitely isn’t looking great at merlin parks in regards to entertainment this year 😒

@AdventureTimesUK I feel for the kids they loved watching the show. I will be doing a visit to monks walk tomorrow to see where they at with slammer I now they've started talking it down

Agree but isn’t it to much like vortex?

@@AdventureTimesUK I think the experience is very different. Vortex is very +ve g focused and it actually makes me feel incredibly ill. Gyro swings are all about the floaty -ve gs and I can ride them all day. Then there's the clear difference in scale and how imposing they look, I think something that big will always pull a crowd, especially as a UK first. Plus vortex is getting very old now.

The animals aren’t going anywhere they still need feeding so why not open it make a little money on it to help with high feeding costs and I’m pretty sure the animals like seeing everyone ☺️

@ didn’t see many more animals before the rain tbh. Best part was being allowed in with the giraffes for feeding and getting a talk. Ended up with packed lunch in the car and then down to the garden centre for a coffee 🤣

Wasn't that done last season, they only got about half way repainting it last season

@ they painted half the first corkscrew last year they’ve done both now and the turn into the heartline rolls pretty there’s only the loop,drop and lift hill to complete
