Re Building a failed garden retaining wall!
Your video shows how's to set the blade which is safe and correct..Nice one
Thanks a lot! Very very helpful!! 🙂
Does the 5 amp battery work on the 40v and remain balanced without tipping over
nice review brother you have convinced me to get the 52. My bosch just broke down after 5 years..
Do you thick I can use the 40V MP001 for dusting of rubbish and fat sawdust from my chainsaw? Or is it to weak for that?
Great
Nice van, annoying music
thanks, I've lost days messing with this thing and never even knew about the gauge... awful manual. Now I'm just confused about the alternative deeper blade style, those seem to be the ones for sale currently...
better than Makita support, thank you!
That looks like a Makita 127512-9 dust bag, but what is the adapter you have in it, to make it fit the SP001?
Festool planer is much easier to change the blades compared to makita , so many parts you have to remove in makita
If you are reviewing an adjustment knob important information is where is the pivot point? The hilti pm30mgs are perfect at the cross. The dewalt 20v pivot point is not on the intersection of verticals so its annoying lining up a laser without knowing where the pivot point is. How you figure this out is place a point on the ground turn on both verticals put cross on dot and spin adjustment nob if it stays on the cross take my money.
Great video, The only thing I do differently, is not sit blades central, but to set the end of blades flush with the side of planer bed, opposite the motor to ensure accurate rebating.
Surely you can find a place where there was real trees 🌴 instead of blowing a box around
Do you have to hold the triggers down or is there a hold switch?
Please how cost in ur country?
Thanks dude, makita's manual is pants, no explanation for how to use the guage!
Super clear vid. Thanks.
Looks great, security is a big issue these days though, so I was wondering if the towbar hitch is secured with a lock?
Yes! Have a alarmed lock on the towball hitch 👍🏼
@@BantroBuilds Sweet.
Man, those drawers look awesome.
Looks amazing.
What are the measurements to make the block please ?
Great video man. Cheers.
The Makita 40v inflator I have does not cut out at the set pressure, yours didn't either when you pumped your van up? Also the 18v seems to let air out to drop down to the set pressure as you showed in the video but the 40v doesn't do this?
Thanks for this mate - I bought the same plate-style blades you show but all the other videos I’ve seen use the narrow ones so I thought I had bought the wrong type. Cheers!
Camera position was not helpful
The 18v is dub184 not dub182
Can you make another video where you use the other blades and change them ? Please
Awesome mate - great to see you being safe too….. big thumbs up🤘
Pretty sure you can't calibrate this if it goes out of level
mad cunt keep it up bro
Reckon the nozzles woulda made a difference too. Come with a bunch of em on the 40V to shape the air
Thanks so much for this useful information.
Immediate like for having protection on!
Can you use it with just one blade unit ... Found one at yard sale it is missing the o e blade and brackets .. I don't want to wait for the part to be delivered just wanna use it now .. new to this stuff but enjoying it
Good video!! Just got the tool, watching again
Why would the cutterhead be wider than the planer base, and why would the blade be wider than the cutter head - makina just keep making tools and sell them , they don’t put time to design the tools
Can you open it all the way up and show what's in it mine broke and your video helped me change the blades
any comment on cutting performance or battery life??
Where you change the blades did your come with the 4 screws that let you adjust the blade depth? Wood chips get stuck in mine I'm trying to order it on that website you posted but can't find it
Hey bro how much weight can you put in the roof, sometimes I have to carry up to 300/500kgs on the roof racks
why hyundai iload ?
Yo man can you help? Will that thing cut a mountain stones??
Nice review
The Milwaukee has the micro adjustment as well. I think the Makita is more accurate being + or - 2mm over 10m where the Milwaukee is 3mm.
Accuracy > MA
There is ZERO difference between 18v and 20v or 36v and 40v. Both batteries are 18v for storage and 21v charged. Companies are playing with the numbers to confuse the ignorant. Battery packs that use the newer 21700 cells vs the older 18650 cells have more capacity and are slightly heavier but voltage remains the same. 18v x 2 or a single 40v are the exact same voltage fully charged. 42v
what about the watts as the 40 v power head can deliver 1000w as apposed to the 36v power head that delivers 620w?
@@zarrow50 Either they switched to 21700 cells and can draw a few more amps or the inverter is just different
The 21700 cells have a higher discharge capacity.
36 and 40v makes it easier to differentiate XGT and LXT.
Great tutorial, thanks!
Thanks for that Bantro, i found it very helpful
Blow up the small blower as not brushless, running way to hot
How’s the battery life ? One versus the other
