They no longer have the single wire for replacement and try to sell you a new one. The ball came off of mine and I can't get it attached. I tried a fishing weight but that didn't work. Very disappointed

You should take this video down. It's known to emit ozone into the home worsening the air

I ran it through dishwasher but I’m sure all the metal plates are stained black with dirt. I ran q tips in between each plate and so much black came off even after dishwasher. It’s impossible to clean all the plates tho

Most ionic air purifiers (ionizers) are completely safe and not bad for your health. They emit negative ions into the air as a way to clean it which is harmless to you. They're often confused with ozone generators which emit high levels of ozone that can be bad for health.
