Ive never had a fish "break the line". Ive been over aggressive and careless and broke the line myself on a few occasions however.

Quit complaining and fish be greatful there’s people that never get a shot at what u get to do

He didn't put fingers in the mouth. Dont stick your fingers in the mouth. They have major sharp teeth.

I caught a 10lb Mackinaw at Jenny Lake, Grand Tetons, Wyoming in 1962 when I was 10 years old on 8lb test. My mom baked thick filets and we fed our family of 5 and 8 other guests. The largest trout I caught when I was a kid. My dad was a NPS Ranger. We lived in a 3 room log cabin on Cottonwood Creek / Lupine Meadows.. No electricity / with outhouse. 😁 Every morning I would catch Cutthroat Trout out of Conttonwood Creek for my 2 brother's breakfast with mom's sourdough pancakes and scambled eggs prepared on the wood burning stove.
