im really scared for the future of this country. i hate that the person in office is doing such terrible things and he's gonna be there when i first become an adult. i hate it so much. and i don't understand why. why did he get into office? what did he have to offer? why did you vote him? did he rig the votes? also, why does he even want to be in office? does he just want power? does he want money? there's plenty of other jobs i bet he could get to get a lot of money. so why this one? why could he want to ruin all our lives like this? what did minorities ever do to him? is he just that brainwashed by his old ideals? why does he have to spend so much time to ruining minorities lives? it doesn't make sense to me. and all this for what? he's just gonna die anyways. you're doing all this for what?? to die. you've got like 20 more years if you're lucky. what's even the point of doing this then?? you're doing all this just to die. you're not some immortal. or a god. or a titan. you're a human being forcing his way into power positions and then using it to hurt people. does it bring you joy? sadistic joy? do you think you're doing a good thing? is it worth spending some of the last years of your life doing? instead of enjoying yourself? instead of using your 401k to spend the rest of your life happily with your wife? you have to be president? i don't understand at all. i wish i did. i feel cringe for saying it but i really love america. i love that we have so much history, good and bad. i love that we have so many different cultures and types of people. i love that it's a place people can go to try and make their dreams come true. but it feels like everyone who is meant to maintain that is trying to destroy it. trying to change what america is. trying to make it what they want it to be, not what it should be. and people support them. i don't know why. i hate our current government. i hate that they try to silence us. i hate that they're so focused on trans people specifically. i hate that they won't listen to us. i hate that when i become an adult i won't be becoming an adult for a country i'd want to be an adult in. i've always joked about moving to canada but now it doesn't even feel like a joke anymore. everything just feels so awful and i can't stop thinking about it.
