Lmao
Is that Daniel?
Nice kang fui 😂 should be on "cobra kai" 🤣
Signed up as a non-athletic 38 year old w a new baby! One of the best things I’ve ever done for myself in my whole life! Miss you, Dave et al.
Badass
Reminds me of my son play fighting with his buddy's when they were little.
Mc dojo
I am not sure this would work, but it looks like fun.
One of Jimmy Wood's best💪💪💯👏👏🥋🥋
UFC is lucky he is not fighting. He would take every belt in every weight class. 😂
Best art I've ever taken.
Love and miss all you guys. G.Skill
Took San Soo when I was a teenager 30 years ago,.got to green belt. Would like to go back one day
Love seeing the content. Wish there was a studio near me.
God! I love the fluidity, versatility, power, adaptiveness, and full body nature of our Art! Do it to 'em Master Dave!
Women’s self defense is a joke. Stop catering to 7% of your clientele, it won’t bring in any more Men.
Dave, you're a Great Instructor. Thank you for helping me over the years. Keep up the good work. Smiley
How do I subscribe? I am returning to kfss. I am a 3rd degree black belt
I love Dave Hopkins. He's a great instructor and a great human being. Thank you for teaching me, Smiley.
Sifu how can I purchase white belt form dvd
Good drills, but that is not kung fu. Tell it like it is, those are boxing and kickboxing drills.
To bad it is all Choreographed. But still looks great
Wonderful ❤😮it can be practice slow motion like tai chi chuan with breathing.in meditative way combine.
Can we get some more lessons, please?
I train under Master Matt Cuellar. Great to see this, Master Hopkins!
Matt is a great Instructor….He learned from the best in my opinion. Master Paul Schroeder.
I don't know if you remember me but my name is Destiny DeGennaro and I used to take classes at your dojo! You, Mike, and all the other teachers were so amazing, thank you so much for the awesome experience! It truly helped me, going to your classes humbled me. Again, thank you so much!!!
What kind of Kung Fu is this style???
Very nice!!!!!!!!!☯️👍🏻👍🏻
This looks completely different from what I learned in wushu. I’ve never seen anything like this before.
You are a master? Your stance is all wrong and the movements look way off. The only thing that looks right is the salute barely.
I’ve always loved Kung Fu and I’m thinking about joining San Soo but I’m not sure if it’s legit or not? Or how the pricing is?
I think it's much better if you slow down the movements so that the learner can "get it" better
That isn't slow enough for you ?
@@punisher7772 Athletes in training are taught at very slow pace to instill into muscle memory.
@@glennrobinson7193 yeah, I know I have done slow training and also the military teaches - slow is smooth , smooth is fast. But there is nothing complicated about this combination. Effective but simple, I think the speed he is doing it is just right. Now something like a FMA knife disarm where there are lots of different movements going on that would need to be slowed down in order to better understand and properly learn the technique.
@@punisher7772 Hard for a learner to follow how fast you show it. To you it seems "simple" and non complicated because your mind is familiar with it. Maybe good idea if you embrace the wisdom of the military. Jim Kwik has got a brilliant video interviewing Tim Larkin founder of the TFT group explaining why the brain can't properly download things at a fast pace. But seems your like the rest of the M.A.'s world that is locked in to & obsessed with the idea of fast and not openminded to new ideas. All triathletes when they're learning a new skill do it at a super slow pace. Guys on shooting range must do the moves at super slow.
Are you doing anymore video lessons for 2021?
Great workout! Nice techniques!!!
Good Kung-fu!
Cool Dave, it’s been a while, time for some basic handforms !!
It's good to see that you're still teach the lessons the way Al and Jimmy originally taught them.
Do you know of a Jim (James) Walton he studied under Jimmy Woo before his passing if i remember right he got his Masters in San Soo
Question, and I'm sure there's a reason. How come San Soo"s techniques are done fast and I always see the forms done so slow?
San Soo techniques should be practiced as slow as you can do them perfectly. But many people do them faster than they should for ego purposes. On You Tube you may see it fast because they are often demos and doing their best to perform it at street speed. Form is the same. I do form multiple ways, slow. with resistence slow, and medium paced. It depends upon my mastery of the form and what I’m doing it for.
Hope your well 👊👊👊👊👊
Thank you!
Thank you and bless you and yours, Master Dave! Thank you for helping to keep us safely training, sane, and in good spirits. Ready for the Brown belt form. 😏🤠✋🤛
Wow, how many years ago did I train? Love seeing you training.
Awesome, thank you for sharing Dave and Kevin.
Right on, Dave & Kevin!!
I love it!!
🤘Great lesson, Guys!
amusing
Thanks Dave!
I remember that form. I have the original form sheet from Al Rubin. With the two fingers sticking out like that it is not a ridge hand strike, but a poke to the eyes. I'll copy the form and send it to you.
