Thanks! I had a shop delete the resonator. They charged me $205. They said it would’ve been $185 if I paid in cash 😐. Either way I overpaid for it.

it is the 1.6 turbo, 201 hp

So I bought the evilla axle back with the no muffler option and then I had an exhaust shop take out the resonator.

What straight pipe brand did you use?

I still have the primary and secondary cat on the car. Just no muffler and no resonator. I put some details of it in the description.

Thank you! To get the farts you just gotta shift somewhat quick at redline and it’ll do them. The 3-4 pop is real nice and loud since it’s a pretty easy shift to do fast.

Yes, i cut the resonator behind the cat and then i have no muffler at the rear as well. It’s a very liveable setup. With both cats still in place there’s is little to no drone and when i want it a little louder i just fold the rear seats down lol.

Nice!! As long as you don’t delete the cats your warranty will be fine. I’ve taken it in for service multiple times and they don’t say a thing about it . I’ve talked to a service advisor and he said as long as you don’t remove the cats you should be fine.

Thank you! That’s something I didn’t even think about and or notice till the tips arrived. I wish they were staggered because of the bumper shape. I hear they make replacement hangers that make the tips sit higher up to the bumper too so might get those or just buy a new set of tips.

You can buy the evilla axleback without tips and put your own on. I got the mbrp staggered 4 inch chrome tips for mine.

so one time i was revving it on the 5k soft limiter like multiple times and then it stopped me from revving and then it moved the soft limiter down to about 3.5k i suppose it’s like some sort of safety feature because the gas is pinned or something but yea it only takes about 8 seconds of revving it at 5k to activate the one at 3.5k

to remove the emblem i just used some good ole fishing line, rubbing alcohol and a hair dryer lol. for the outside addons i just have that black and red gt badge from ebay. also i cant recommend this car enough it is such an amazing car for the money.

the y pipe is just part of the axle back exhaust from evilla motorsports. that’s one of the reasons why i chose their exhaust. If i took it to get its muffler deleted at an exhaust shop they would throw on one of those cheap y pipes that doesn’t flow well.

The charge pipe had popped off. It’s a common issue on the 435i in warmer climates.

That was just a rental my dad had after a f250 plowed into the back of my dads old G35 on the interstate. A V8 would’ve been nice tho.

i was actually contemplating getting a DCT for the pops as i had an Audi A3 with the DSG previous and i loved the farts also i was struggling to find a gt in my area with a 6MT and just when i was about to give up i found this beauty.

How do you find the DCT? I find it extremely slow and lazy.

@@Hutchy86 I agree anytime it’s not in sport mode but for a Kia dual clutch it gets the job done. Can’t really have high expectations for a Kia/Hyundai product.

@@Andrew-wo1qb I feel a decrease in power just a little bit. You barely noticed it. It's worth the purchase, but to me it's very loud for my sensitive ears. Might be different for you.

I don’t believe so. Looking at their website they only offer dual tips or a tip less option. I could be wrong tho

thank you!! these are not evilla tips as they didn’t make a revised exhaust for the 22+ with the bigger exhaust outlets so i figured duals would look a little silly with how big the outlets are on the 22+ so when i purchased the exhaust i opted for tipless and then i bought these upower 3.5 inch quad tips on amazon

@@flcarstv2396 have you thought of 4 inch tips before purchasing 3.5? You think they would fit?

@@SK.0611i have actually thought about buying 4 inch tips recently because i noticed there is still a decent gap on the sides. before i got the current tips i was thinking 3.5” would be too big but i was wrong i definitely think you could fit 4” tips on it.

Love those tips! Do you happen to know the stock exhaust pipe diameter? Wouldn’t mind chopping the stock ones off and getting these if the stock outlets are 2.5
