Yes sir it was this evening. There was a major accident on the service rd. Not 100% sure but heard a vehicle was weaving in and out at a high rate of speed and lost control rolled thru the median and onto service road. 1 female was arrested at scene for interfering but later released. The male subject driving the rolled car was arrested. Royse City had 2 med calls so I missed Medic 2 they were about a minute behind Medic 1.

It was it was a little after midnight on New Years. People get really crazy with fireworks in Dallas.

You talk like you know what the nature of the call was. How about you go do a ride out at that station and see what they deal with on new years eve. Don’t even have a clue what they were going on or how many calls they have been running. Talk what you know! Waste of tax payers dollars? Do you even live or work in the city of Dallas? No sir it is not a volunteer department it is Dallas Tx Fire Rescue. They have 59 stations.

I’ve been on the job for 33 years. The NFPA Standard 1710 establishes an 80 second “ turnout time” and 240 second “ Travel Time “ together , 320 seconds or 5 minutes and 20 seconds response time. Hope this helps out.
