The King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) manages a range of programs and services to help our county's most vulnerable residents while working to strengthen our communities. We believe in working as one team that solves problems-striving to be customer-focused and drive for the best results. We envision a welcoming community that is racially just because the field of human services exists to undo and mitigate unfair structures. 2024 Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy Summit
The 2024 Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) Summit is an interactive summit for all VSHSL community partners and the broader human service provider community. The summit included engaging presentations, panel discussions, and opportunities for networking and connection. The VSHSL Summit aims to foster a sense of purpose, community, and growth throughout our VSHSL community by strengthening connections between providers and creating shared awareness amongst community partners.

my psychiatrists lied to me. they all lied. take this med, its good for you. fucking med game medication induced parkinsons disease, other meds gave me multiple sclerosis. i told my psychiatrist that i never tried prozac. and i said i want to try that one. the shit cured me from all my problems. im trying to quit all that other crap before it kils me. all i want is prozac.
👋I survived my suicidal attempt when I was 18. I am so grateful that I didn’t die even though I became paralyzed. By God’s Grace, my mental health is excellent now. If you are depressed, I hope you will not give up, it’s a treatable medical condition. If I can recover, anyone is able to potentially.
