Admittedly, the video was to showcase awesome trains around the world and before any of the unfortunate happenings in Ukraine, in case that’s what you’re referring to. Lake beach vs the ocean beach. Difference or no?

@@wanderfullylost2017 In the video, Lake Geneva is suggested as a way for Chicagoans to get time at the beach. Both Lake Geneva and Lake Michigan (upon which Chicago sits) are lakes. However, Lake Michigan is more like an ocean-it's really an inland, freshwater sea. The beaches in Chicago are amazing. That being said, Lake Geneva is an awesome getaway spot, and we love going there.

@@wanderfullylost2017 They're similar (the Great Lakes are basically inland, freshwater seas), though of course there are differences (wave sizes, fresh vs. salt water). Many actually prefer Lake Michigan to the ocean. However, in the video, you mentioned that Chicagoans who want beach live should travel to Lake Geneva. While that is a fantastic vacation spot, it's definitely not the ocean, and it's much more lake-feeling than Lake Michigan, which, again, feels like a freshwater ocean.

@@wanderfullylost2017 haha. Heck no I didn’t do it. I just meant I put in the details of the trip to get a price point and it quoted me 25k. I’m looking for something around $5k for a family of 5. And if I had the money to spend on beach’s I’d be going to one of those overwater bungalow places instead.
