It depends on a lot of things, it can take anywhere from 5 seconds to 10 minutes
If there is eventually a Smash Bros. on Switch 2, let's hope Nintendo drastically improves the online infrastructure!
whats really sad is nintendo made us pay for online only days befor ultimate released, just for the worst online experience on a console.
@@mikeduff2070 Yeah, that was indeed a slap to the face! We got the same online experience as the Wii U, but actually had to pay for it! 😄
@@mattb6522 in my oppinion it was much worse then the wii u, battle arenas were a much worse thing only thing we got that was any good was some sort of rank in quick play, but they made it so confusing cause when do you know your at the top when all you know is how many people are not as high as you.

I went online last week for the first time since early 2022 (had to stop for medical issues). I was actually impressed by how not toxic it was, at least when I was playing Marth and ranking with other higher end Elite players. I need to get 4 more characters to Elite to finish what I started, but I found that the bit right before you hit Elite is home to the most toxic players with the worst internet connections.
