How to Access Google Links to Private Reddit Pages - "Private Community" Error
Переглядів 510Рік тому
It is quite frustrating when you lookup something on google, and you find an awesome link to a reddit page, only to realize that the page has been converted to a private community. In this video, I will walk you through two ways to access a Reddit Page that has the "r/ is a private community" error page.
Nice video. Can you do the same test with a Quadro P5000?
Hi! Please continue creating content! Its very helpful!
What’s that dashboard that displays your cpu load?
lol, try on HDD's instead of ssd's
Answering the *REAL* questions for us! Thanks!
When are you dropping your next video?
Can you do a video of your plex settings of how to achieve the same results, please? So the cpu doesn't do anything and quicksync does all the work and that quicksync drops out when it can't do anymore.
Awesome video brother. I now think I will try to get the same set up as you 30 transcodes are amazing
Could you do NordVPN 😂 shit would be dope cuz it’s what I got
Naija don tire. Great video by the way.
interesting. looking forward series on plex server. If you want to go that route, i would be interested seeing a full setup with proxmox/unraid and TRaSH's guides.
Cracking Video - Thanks!
Anyone have a i5-12600 and has performed the same test?
Any idea on how to do this on truenas Core ?
Hello, are you able to create a video that describes how to force HW transcoding? I am unable to make my 12700k transcode the files using HW transcoding. I am using Plex on a Ubuntu Server VM with Plexpass on a TrueNAS Server Host. Any pointers would be awesome. Thank you!
Saved you 5 minutes. They used 4K files and then made plex transcode them down to 720 and the magic number was 8
What mother board are u using?
Audio transcoding is not hardware-accelerated, that's presumably the major user of cpu cycles in your test
Enorme merci !!
Planned for a while now to upgrade my 8700K Plex with Nvidia card to 12600K cpu w/o video card. Good to see validation for that plan. Thanks
Did you use tone mapping on the server? Great video bytheway
This was very helpful! Thank you so much! Great video!
Thank you. Cant wait for your new NAS.
most of the people i know need subtitles. Even with one 4k stream i can cripple quicksync if it transcodes a file with subtitles. Do you have a solution for that? other then disabling subs?
4k HDR10 to SD (H.264) requires tone mapping. None of the videos would be watchable without it, so I’d say it’s unlikely he did the test overlooking such an important factor. Keep in mind that this test is done on TruNAS using an i9. Any Linux distro like Unraid, Ubuntu ect..utilizes hardware (HW) for tone mapping. If you use Windows Plex can only use software to do transcoding for the tone mapping and it’s a very CPU intensive process. You will not get anywhere near the same number of concurrent streams using Windows, especially if you have something like an i5 12500. I'm curious if you tested 4k HDR10 --> 1080p streams and how the results compared to 4k HDR10 --> 720p. Thanks
Hi. I know this is a very old comment but i was curious about something that you said. You said: “On Windows, Plex can only use software transcoding for tone mapping”. I was curious if this is still true even after you select a GPU in the serves settings. Sorry of i get this wrong, but i believe the location of the setting was in: “Settings icon > Transcoding > Select GPU to use for transcoding (it is a dropdown. The default value being “auto”)”. For my setup, i have chosen my IGPU from that dropdown and never really thought about it ever again since i only have 720p - 1080p movies on there with all devices able to do direct play. I was just curious :) Thank you in advance for your answer and hope you have a great day.
Good video! Subbed waiting for the plex server build
Wow thats awesome. I currently have a unraid server running plex with all AMD hardware. X570 mainboard with 3900x. I wanna swap out the board and processor for Intel. Quicksync is definitely the way to go.
I like the way you have changed your chrome interface can you share how you did that 😎
Fantastic job. Can’t wait for the next one. Keep up the good work 😊.
Muy buen vídeo!! Esperamos el videode montar Nas desde cero con un PC. Gracias 🤩
Excellent video. Can you check how many 4k (15-20 Mbps) --> 1080 (15Mbps) HEVC videos you can transcode in parallel with Tone-Mapping enabled? Would be really helpful if you can give me this idea before i purchase my CPU.
Amazing work. I've been fighting with this for days. Thank you!
Should I get ryzen 7 5700x or i5 12400 for productivity and a bit gaming?
Ryzen does not have iGPU.
Hello, first time I visit your channel and I must say that thank you very much for this great video, I was thinking of building myself a beast to use plex, while I do some work with the computer, but if you say that the I5 can do the same work than your processor despite the difference in cores, I could build something cheaper with an I5 and leave it as a dedicated server for plex, while I use another computer to work without disturbing the plex server, thank you very much again :D
seria bueno hacer la prueba con archivos 1080p 264
Tone Mapping ON? witch OS? intel / beignet not works > 8gen
Works with unraid!

This video was actually more informative than other said popular video creators. Thanks.
He got more streams. Maybe you're doing something wrong? ua-cam.com/video/PsyV1j6mc1E/v-deo.html
Can you do the same on Jellyfin?
Yeah, that sounds interesting. Look forward to it 😇
I have 12900k i9 and nvidia P2000. Should i use qsv or nvenc
Quick sync is more efficient than nvenc. I would suggest using quicksync and save your PCIe slot for something else.
Great insights on Quicksync.... it's the secret capability of Intel processors that keeps me on team blue. It's great to see how well 12 th gen works. I'm waiting for 14th gen and expect it to be even better. so few channels on YT that give this level of insight on Quicksync performance, gr8 job.
Thanks for this - recently purchased a 12500T and wanted to know the performance I should expect. Great video.
Glad you liked the video. Do share your experience with the 12500t
Thank you for this very informative video. I’m trying to do this on the very cheap 12th generation Intel n100. I think that it has the same quicksync version though as your fastest 12th gen CPU?
Glad you liked the video!! 😀 The n100 supports Intel quick sync so it should be able to transcode some movies in Plex. However, it's performance may be lesser than the UHD 770. Do share your experience. I've always wondered how many streams you could have with other CPUs.
@@TipTheTechGuy-TTTG thank you I will.
Hello mr tech guy, great video! Will you be testing out the intel arc gpu like a380 in their transcode performance and av1?
I just read a bit on the a380 and it seems like an interesting piece of hardware for plex transcoding. I'd make a video on it as soon as I can find one used, or get a deal on it on Newegg/Amazon. Stay tuned. :)
@@TipTheTechGuy-TTTG$100 on Newegg! I sprung for the A750 instead, though lol
Hey thanks for the tutorial it's working great. I've tried to make this done with gluetun but i didn't manage to do it. If you manage to do it with cyberghost i might be interested :).
Glad to help. I will make a video on gluetun soon. :)
To set up VPN for a TrueCharts Application, you will need the following: 1. Authentication UserName and Password 2. An OVPN configuration file 3. An Accessible DataSet where the OVPN file can be stored 4. The Ip address for your network and Kubernetes a. Ip address for you netwwork is quite simple, use the ip address for your TrueNAS, replace the numbers after the last "." with 0 and add "/24" b. IP address for Kubernetes is the same for all systems: 172.16.0.0/16 We can obtain the 1 and 2 from your VPN Providers website. To check the WAN ip address, navigate to the apps SHell, and run the code: curl ip.me For ca ca.crt, the prefix and suffix is <ca> and </ca> For cert client.crt, the prefix and suffix is <cert> and </cert> For key client.key, the prefix and suffix is <key> and </key> pull-filter ignore "ifconfig-ipv6" pull-filter ignore "route-ipv6"
Wow this has helped a lot! Thanks man!
You are very welcome!!😇
