If you're solo, Deception might be a better pick. If you play with a heal/tank, Hatred does great dps. Try it out, both are fun imo

Leveling up, both are great cause of stealth. Hatred has better aoe but Deception can one shot trash and get recklessness resets. Both nice tbh

If you're bodyguard, you have Unload, which cannot be cast while moving. On Arsenal, you have Blazing Bolts, which can. You used to spec into a utility to do that, but not anymore. So if it doesn't work, it's either a bug or you are cancelling the cast with another ability. Hard to say. Maybe post a video on my discord so I can take a look

figuring out the gearing is the hardest part ;)

idk it depends what you consider "hard". Dps check are fairly easy due to overtuned gear, but afaik they did not nerf ops mechanics.

Yeah it helps! You only want to augment your endgame gear. I have a guide on augments too in the Intro to PVP Playlist if you want to learn more on that

@Benkyno yeah that Will work. Some ppl also run some accuracy in pve do help with dps. Just make sure you have more than 2054 alacrity

The problem is that augments/missing bolster are one of the things which make it harder for new players to get into the game, which leads to a whole series of issues down the road. (e.g. broken matchmaking) Imagine being new in SWTOR and having to farm datacrons, companion bonuses, 336 gear, tacticals, legendaries, augments and mk-11 kits from scratch...

I mean sure keep the augments to let ppl min-max the last 2% of dps, but give new players a baseline to the competitive at least

@@ivano1337 why would you care so much when you arent new player? to feel how much you can do with your experience take something like 324 gear and check. i believe its better than was before when expertise was in the game and you had to start from the scratch. blue augments are affordable for new players if they want to compete in pvp. and gearing isnt that hard. thanks for youtube guides. your guide was pretty useful for me

@@ivano1337 i didnt play swtor for 9 years and didnt have even 5M creds on all toons. now i have 100+ from crafting after couple months, so base 340 augmented gear is affordable on few toons

I care because I want more people to get into pvp. That's the main point of my channel. Imo a new player shouldnt need a couple of months to be competitive. And yeah I have done 15k dps in green conq gear without augments. But I am not a new player

Like if they would create a poll for the community to vote on what they should devote resources to, Solo Story / Cosmetics / Mac Client / New Augments / New Operations... would love to see the results of that. I even suggested that on the livestream and i was timed out and my msg was deleted.

Yeah. Give ppl a fixed amount of stats and let them shift it around depending on which spec they play. Like Cease said a while ago

Bad take, pvp stat scaling is so bad that it relies solely on augments for stats like crit and alacrity. Caping the gear lower than what we have no will kill classes that don’t have natural crit boosting talents. Classes like Annihilation and Arsenal just for example(there are more) are barely doing if any more damage than they did in 6.0 and classes like marksmen, io and pyro are only keeping their head above water because of tacticals.

@@7Vile7 stat scaling as an issue, but augments are not the solution.
