I have a few more questions: So what do we use after discharge? I take it discharge doesn't work like it does on deception sin? So I won't open with Stride, Assassinate, Recklessness, Discharge, Shock then Depradating Volts? Or does discharge serve another purpose for this spec? I'm always use to using my discharge after I hit Recklessness but wasn't sure if Recklessness still has three stacks and if Discharge, Shock and Depradating Volts are consuming it's stacks. Just want to make sure I understand everything though I'm slowly getting there.

Is there still a difference in playing a 336 pvp relic vs a 344 pve relic in pvp? Because I remember, before we used to play with the 332 pvp relics for pvp?

If you are guarding someone in an arena and you are in stealth, and your guarded target gets hit does that pull you out of stealth? Just curious as never play skank tank sin and want to know so my opener doesn't get ruined like you explained in this video? Also what abilities do I want to use with Recklessness? is it just shock or is there other abilities good with that? I'm use to playing deception so I always use Reck, Discharge, Maul and Reaping Strike so not sure would I use a discharge after reck and then shock? or shock has to be used right away? Sorry for all the questions but trying to understand this class.

Maybe it's just me but somehow I feel dps sorcs are no longer top S-tier imho. Why? Because I haven't seen both ingame or a video of them stacking up lately. Dps sorc here was 8th place. On paper they are brokenly OP but they get tunneled and focused by 2-3 ppl every WZ. Because ppl do know they are strong. Classes you often see stacked are Juggs, PTs and Snipers. This video proved it even more. I do see why, because these classes have strong *Fast* bursts. Sorcs can have 300k opening burst but generally they need a setup time. Others just leap in and 3 insta crits buttons pressed and don't tell me "it's a skill issue lol" because even if you try stay in the back, kiting, LoS, phase walking etc, the moment you step back into the fight, focused again. Granted engi snipers do need some prep time too be4 they can press their EMP 150k crits but atleast they don't have to be jumped by 2-3 melee or Sins teleporting to you or PTs pulling you 24/7. If Madness Sorcs are so crazy broken, how come there's no 3-4 sorcs in almost no videos or ingame WZs and don't tell me 95% of playerbase suddenly woke up with "morals" 😅 With heal/tank backup you're fine but so are many classes with a pocket healer/tank. In any case, time to stop my rant here and thank Ivano once again for all the videos/guides/content. Lastly, who did Ivano focus first in his previous Mara WZ vid? Drums...yupp a Sorc and that was just one Jugg. All he could do was to Phase walk away ^^

old & cheap now too, yet still is pretty entertaining & is making enough money for them not to pull the plug just yet, although a new star wars mmo is now late in my estimations by about what? 2-5 years now? same time they were making outlaw two other single player SW games were cancelled a while back because they were single player games meaning NOT single player games is/was were they saw the money, so dont be surprised if they have been working on ToRs replacement since around about that time too, money from this could be directly financing its development too

still no way to turn off those four legacy perma-buffs? i looked the other day & missed it if there is an option to hide said usless info icons =D

when he says about jugg immunity after leap, look over a vid guide for this kind of thing as to how to set your & your targets buff/de-buff tray, default is not much for pve let alone pvp, interface editor >> make the buff trays big enough to see, tick all options & change drop downs to "time remaining" then you will see better when the juggs immunity wears off ect

Dear Ivano, thoroughly enjoyed the podcast! I found the discussion about tactics fascinating. For what it is worth, I believe you are both correct and your opinions equally valid based upon context. I think the ‘true-est’ answer is sonehwere in the middle. U need good dps to succeed and smart tactical thinking to take it to another level. the hypergate match was a prime example and really was a high quality game which showcased the best of both worlds! the podcast brings back memories of the glory days of pvp. hope to see more ❤

I wanted to rush to defend Mara's but then I read Rage and cooled down because I realized that I use Carnage Mara & Rage Jug as my main classes with equal love. No offense to these marauders, but I find them weak, although I do not claim that I would have done better in this situation. But I would definitely like to try. If you take these two specs Rage & Carnage, I would not give absolute superiority to any of them, in skilled hands the chances are equal.)

So I just learn't something unfair. Cloak of pain does damage onto enemies that attack you right? Well seems that Juggs focus defense can benefit from it. So even if you play it smart and watch their DCD, there is no out playing them in a 1v1. I used to use Force Camo and AoE mez to avoid their ED back in 6.0. But no the soft stun is removed from maras and now I find out I actually have to click off my cloak of pain so they don't benefit from it.

Its crazy how a video like this is needed on my favourite class in the game back in the day, but back then it was just known as "Sadness" sorcerer, as they were terrible. Now I cant play the class without feeling bad...had to search for a different main, oh well

Hey Ivano, love your videos and how you explain things. I'm pritty new and I have a question to u or other players in chat who knows this. U show the stats pritty often. The 2200 alac and the 1100 accuracy and so on. Does this numbers apply on the fleet or on the rishy fortress?? because this numbers decrease if u go to rishy fortress or in worzones. Would love someone could answer this.

Best thing you could do to get more people to PvP is to stop Qing premades and steamrolling pugs. This makes people quit pvp, or the game entirely because it is absolutely toxic for the general population of the game.

After coming back after a couple of years and going into pvp a little rusty, making a mistake and getting screamed at by my team mates is really off putting. I am used to some toxic players, but I can imagine someone new trying to learn pvp in the game and getting the same treatment and not coming back.

very nice, i listened to the first two hours while building a sandcrawler in minecraft - made me remember some good swtor times. I was very much into housing and decorated my patrol carrier as a mandalorian warship on the inside. But after having accomplished that goal, the motivation was gone. Maybe it's time to revive my characters and even get back into pvp
