    its my understanding you put the guides on the stiffer side of the spine, so it balances it out? can anyone elaborate on this more? so opposite to what it says in this video

      You want the rod to bend the easiest towards the fish not opposite.

      Just found a video with Gary Loomis and how he does it the opposite way with fast taper or lighter blank's. Very interesting

    I love your technique I just wish your camera showed what was happening on your side of the wrap. how you cross over or under the main thread. Very neat and easy . I will give it a try Thanks.

    Always a good idea to put some black texta on the ground foot section. Hides any chance of seeing a colour difference.

    so true every rod builder has his own technique,i never epoxy the way you did it but i really like watching another rod builders skill,all the leather foregrips i did had cork under the grip and sand wells for it to lay in.
