I love the lively footwork which makes the song sound special! But you should work more on the heel-toe technique, alternating feet ( let the right foot help out much much more) and foot substituting technique and your bass sound will then be connected, legato, and smooth! By the way, you play much better without your shoes!!

Title: AUSTRIAN HYMN Composer: Joseph Haydn (1797) Oh yes! a favorite of mine, though I think the score you used is a modern arrangement with some added embelishments/ornamentation, I like the older version I have from the German 1896 "Sonntagschulbuch für Evangelisch-Lutherische Gemeinden", the crazy dysfunctional youtube copyright bot flagged my video of it as this PUBLIC DOMAIN song played from a long out of copyright 1896 German Sunday school book as being owned by 3 or 4 different US music publishers! I woun up just sicking on dailymotion instead of bothering yet again with disuting the claim which I have always done and always won 100%
