Hey thanks for this video! I too do not wish to drill any holes in my FX SVHO. I have a few questions: 1. Which bracket at Home Depot did you use and are there any steering, or corrosion issues? 2. Where did you get the cup holder top that you mounted the unit to. It looks exactly like the one Yamaha provides. 3. Is the power system and the battery still working well for you?

Why are those fenders floating around? Shouldn't they hook under the rub-rail?

Why the crazy long dock line... about 6-feet is all that is needed.

When I bought a waverunner for the first time I had only rented a piece of junk one other time, so I didnt know much and the sales guys tried telling me that the SVHO was not much faster and pushed to buy an HO. I bought the 2022 SVHO anyways and have since raced a couple HO and absolutely smoked them. Top speed has only been 65 but i get there in a few seconds

These have been used on boats for decades...works fine. No, it does not in any way reduce your speed or handling. The spray on products with their rough texture work even better and actually increase the speed of any vessel.

That bracket is strong and makes a good square place to mount the transducer to, but if yours does like mind did, you will have to remove it, because it will work like a rudder and makes the ski hard to steer, it will pull to one side, and dangerous at a higher speed!

GOOD NEWS!!! Just turn off speed control, even if it’s on “high”. It’s still limited to 57-58 mph in high mode. Make it white to turn it off and you’ll see 63-65mph. I just figured this out. Low is 41 mph, medium is 48 mph, and high is only 57.

3 things got my BP up in this video. 1) I sure hope that minivan has a PTU and is AWD, if not, your luck may have ran out on this perfect sand condition and approach angle. That sand was packed, flat, and barley an angle. Don’t try that again if not 4x4 or AWD. 2) leaving it beached and not even anchored where even the slightest wave or wind would take it out to the deep blue abyss, and 3)……. Staging the hull into sand 😖. Cool video but my BP shot up watching this 😂

Not insulting your rig or vid but my 2022 VX Cruiser TR-1 topped out at 53 and 54 MPH max. Looks like the 4 cylinder HO doesn’t give a whole lot more 😬

Nice I like the way you did it. I really have no appetite for drilling a hole in the rear of the ski. I don’t love the cable being draped on the back deck but I don’t see another way of doing it. I’m going try it this weekend. Thanks for sharing.

Your backup trailer is too far. Typically the trailer wheels just submerge completely then more than deep enough to launch. Your Van is fine. In MN, I see people launch with their sedan.
