I have learned so much from your videos. Hope you hit to 1K subscribers Thanks
In Canada we're seeing shifty buyers too! A neighbor accepted an unconditional offer. The new buyer turned up 2 weeks before closing with his u haul & 5 kids asking for early possession. DENIED! Turned out there was no $ to close. The deal collapsed & 2 months of marketing were lost.
YES!! Isn't it crazy how people think you aren't going to figure it out?? The lost marketing time is what is so frustrating for me.
Thanks for the update
Thanks for watching!
You are a sharp agent!
Thank you!
Nice vid!
👍
I didn't even list my house until it was totally empty; just a twin bed and a folding table is what I lived with until I was totally ready to put it on the market. I love antiques so I knew my furniture would be a total turn off to young buyers so all the rooms were a blank slate. Plus it made it a breeze for the appraiser and inspector to do their jobs! You're going to have to pack anyway - waiting until after a contract comes in, is crazy. It takes months to pack - better to have a majority of your stuff packed or thrown out before the listing even occurs.

The buyers agent is also paid based on the sales price of the house. That is why all this has happened. It is not in their best interest to try and negotiate down the price of a house since if they work hard to do that then they are paid less.
I have learned a lot how to sell a house from you! Hope you get more subscribers!

Trump absolutely. EVERYTHING has sent up in cost. He is cut out for this job. Harris needs to find a non profit for her bafoonery.

Great video...very informative. I hope the damns don't break with Hurricane Helene going through and causing problems . My husband and I may be moving that direction in 8-10 years when we retire. I wish we could buy an acre or 2 up there before then and put or motorhome on it for the summers until we retire and build a home.
We have had some major flooding issues over the past 24 hours. Highways and bridges washed out as well as 2 different interstates have been affected. It's been a mess.
I wish you were in FL !
Thank you so much for that!
Wonderful video
Thank you!
Many thanks, Amy ! good solid advice for anyone planning to sell !
Glad it was helpful!
I grew up dining at the dining room table, now I leave the table set with glasses. My kids automatically respect the Space! And zit forces us to use the pretty space! We deserve it❤🙏❤we share our day and have conversations that wouldn't otherwise happen in fro t of the tube!
Thanks for sharing!
It's a sad day when you don't sit at the table...I was getting away from it and eating on my chair in the living room and for about the last 8 months I started eating at my kitchen table I feel I work hard to put food on my table at least twice a day and it deserves my respect...when I here people looking for ways to save on food I think about being at home with mom and you ate everything at the table...like meals and snacks of any kind we were not allowed to drage food through the house ..her words.." of you can't sit at the table to eat your not hungry"...I take from this now that you may not be hungry you might be bored...I can see the dining room going by the wayside but you should have room for your family to set around the table...oh ya when it was mealtime we wated till mom sat down before we ate...it was called respect and if you didn't like the meal you asked to be excused...
Thanks for sharing! My family eats at the dining room table as well.
A few years ago when I was hunting, I specifically looked for a house with a dining room area. So many houses were open, Concepts I did not like that. I am a younger millennial and I always envisioned my family eating at the dining room table because I didn’t get that as a child. I also read an article that children who eat at the dining room table tend to have healthier family relationships. So that was my logic behind finding the dining room. We sit at the dining room table for most meals. I will admit that there are quite a few meals that we eat right in front of the TV, that’s because this is how I did it as a child.
I think a lot of people are wishing that we would get away from the open concept. Thanks for the comment!
We enjoy big family get togethers around our large dining room table. During the week my 85 year old mom, my husband and I have different schedules and tend to eat at the kitchen island. Since our dining room is a pass through room we are always using it for sewing and projects until everyone piles in.
Sounds great! Thanks for commenting!
Sounds like an excuse to sell home that don’t have dining spaces. We use our dining table A LOT!!
I'm not trying to sell anything. I use my dining room table on a regular. Just reporting on an article I read and asking for everyone's input. Thanks for the comment.
I grew up eating at the dining room table for every meal. I raised my kids doing the same thing. We found it important in order to connect as a family every day. Now my husband and I have my 85 year old mother living with us and we still all eat together at the table. We all enjoy our meals together.
I did too! And I have my family sit down at the table for meals. But I know a lot of people who just sit in their living room watching TV while eating.
Kitchen island, built house w/o dining room. Never used one in 47 years
Thanks for sharing!
I miss the separate rooms, like living room, dining room and family room.
I think a lot of people do! I have more and more families that prefer homes with separated spaces
I grew up eating dinner at the dining room table , And my kids grew up eating at the dining room table it was sad because when they graduated from high school they all went their own ways and got jobs college and we stopped eating at the dining room table. We do still do it for Christmas and thanksgiving and Easter and on occasion. And we always start off by giving thanks to the Lord for the blessings in our lives and the food on the table.❤
Thank you for sharing!
Yeah, when you’ve lost the nuclear family, you’ve in turn lost the dining room. Fortunately, some families still make dinner time a priority. Like mine, and many others. We have friends that never eat the same meal together let alone at the same time. Bizarre to me.
I agree!
If you have children it's going to be at the kitchen table or dining room table, you're single it's probably going to be wherever the television or laptop is.
Thanks for the comment!
Our kitchen is too small. Our only table is in the dining room. It’s not formal. Typically, everyone roams through the kitchen at different times and eats on their own. All adults now and on varying schedules.
Thanks for your input!
Grew up with a kitchen table that could only handle 6 of my family of 8 with all home. We got my family of 8 plus both grandmothers at the dining table for holidays, me and youngest used a piano bench, a wee bit tight all around but so what, we were together.
Growing up we usually had a card table that was the Kids' table for holiday dinners.
My husband & I eat every meal at the dining room table. When company comes we can comfortably seat 8 there. If we have more than that we put up 2 tables end to end in our enclosed back porch and all eat together. Family meals are sacrosanct.
Love it! Thanks for sharing!
We gave a kitchen table for four and a dinning room with table for 10. China, silver, crystal and linen tablecloth with matching napkins that are used often. Also tea party sets which are often used.
That's awesome! I never understand people getting china sets and then letting them collect dust and not use them!
In Sweden usually the family sit down around the kitchen table and have their evening Emal together. Not to do so is a kind of failure or sign of a decadent life
Interesting! thanks for sharing.
My dining table is an eating space, an office table and whatever else I need it for. It's often very messy.
I understand that! I am raising my 5 y old grand daughter and she uses it for an art center, play dough table, etc. Thanks for the comment!
We have an open dining room attached to the kitchen- we are a family of eight. We eat breakfast, lunch, and supper there- extending the table Sundays for visitors. I think it’s important to sit down together at every meal.
That is awesome! Thanks for the response!
Small house With two tables side by side Open kitchen/ living room Us/ kids/ grands every Sunday=12 people. One daughter and 4 grands live next door and we cook and eat together about 4 nights a week depending on her work schedule as a busy RN. All birthdays are celebrated on the closest Sunday and celebrants picks menu and cake. Around the table as often as you can is good for families.
That sounds so much like what my family does!
I love my formal dining room. It is beautiful. We are planning a move next year. Buying a home with a formal DR is a priority. Entertaining there is so much more gracious and special, especially during Holidays. We often use it for family meals, not daily, but several times a week depending on how many people drop by.
I agree! I love my dining room
I bought my house for the dining room. Our previous home had an ear in kitchen but no separate dining room. I find I enjoy the dining space OUTSIDE of the kitchen to be much more enjoyable.
Growing up we only had a kitchen table. There was no dining room.
My family had a kitchen/dining combo so I get it
